This will be my first scrog i have built an 8 site ebb and flow with a 2'x4' screen 12" above sites 1sqft of screen each plant. Took clones from my ladies about 30 days ago 7 days before i switched the lights to 12/12. Moms are now 23 days into flower and will not be ready for harvest for another 40-50 days ( hopefully ) but there lies my issue my flower room will not be ready till moms are done and my clones are 1" below screen the moms tripled in size durring flower stretch is my screen going to be too full and if so what can i do to slow the fill (ex FIM, top, or any other teq i dont know of ) +rep for experienced scrogers

a couple pics one of moms other of scrog modular system both taken 3 or 4 days ago

also if anyone wants to take a stab at guessing yield of moms 6 plants pure ak and extreme indica 3' to 4' tall under two 400 watt hps using advanced nutrients grow, micro, bloom, bud candy, big bud, and overdrive.

Please, don't mix things that are clearly labeled "keep away from open flame" with hot objects such as an HPS...
And if you do, be extremely careful. Looks good, Kill everything that doesn't make it to the screen, and if they're still vegging you could keep FIM'ing the colas that poke out, until like two weeks before flowering them, and then by the time they'd go into flower, all their hormones would be back in check with proper care, and you'd have a rediculous mass of colas at your screen.

It's all up to you, but you could easily keep them vegging until then.

You could also just veg your SCRoG like normal, and a few weeks before flower cut off any branches that poke above the screen, root them to preserve the genetics, and flower the second batch.

And keep repeating. Just an idea man, good luck.

ha ha i know i was scratching my head when i bought the insulation board but i bought a couple of those $40 heat activated fire extinguishers they are mounted to the ceiling

thanks for the reply added rep i was just worried that the screen would get to full most the tutorials i have read say fill to 70% then flower and that an over crowded screen could be a potential nightmare.

You could LST the flowering colas?
I don't know, improvise. Do you garden or have house plants besides cannabis?

2 KG Flame Defender Price:

There are many electrical devices in today’s indoor growing environments. Power strips, CO2 generators, heat mats, lights, light movers, reservoir heaters, fans, pumps, etc., can malfunction and cause a fire. Protect yourself, your growing environment and your home. Install a Flame Defender™ today!
ABC - This is the multipurpose dry chemical extinguisher. The ABC type is filled with monoammonium phosphate, a yellow powder that leaves a sticky residue that may be damaging to electrical appliances such as a computer. Dry chemical extinguishers have an advantage over CO2 extinguishers since they leave a non-flammable substance on the extinguished material, reducing the likelihood of re-ignition.
Class A extinguishers are for ordinary combustible materials such as paper, wood, cardboard, and most plastics. The numerical rating on these types of extinguishers indicates the amount of water it holds and the amount of fire it can extinguish.
Class B fires involve flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, kerosene, grease and oil. The numerical rating for class B extinguishers indicates the approximate number of square feet of fire it can extinguish.
Class C fires involve electrical equipment, such as appliances, wiring, circuit breakers and outlets. Never use water to extinguish class C fires - the risk of electrical shock is far too great! Class C extinguishers do not have a numerical rating. The C classification means the extinguishing agent is non-conductive.

  • Self contained – No plumbing or wiring required.
  • Simply install by attaching vertically to the wall or ceiling.

  • Suitable for electrical fires.
  • Discharges a hemispherical spray pattern in area under sprinkler.

Just keep topping/fimming/LSTing til the flower room is ready. Look at it like it's a good thing, cause it is, and get even more big fat colas and yild more than you would have if switched to flowering earlier. Good Luck.

what alex said, keep topping and fimming to slow it down but you will be trimmin for a while. Get another light, it will prolly pay for itself with that crop.
