Screw in LED

This is my screw in led set up for a 22x36in grow tent. Running 30x 8.5w 2700k 800lm ecosmart brand bulbs and 5x 8.5w 5000k 840lm ecosmart bulbs in 5x 7 port light splitters off of Amazon hung by 5 hanging sockets off of Amazon. The plant was vegged and started flowering off of a aglex "1200w" blurple light that only pulls about 200w from the wall. Is there anything I should change to my set up or should this set up be good for future grows? 20190524_194558.jpg 20190524_194531.jpg 20190524_194516.jpg

Your good with that set up.
I run something similar and pull 200g from 185w no problems.

Right on do I need to change out some of the bulbs to add more blue during my next veg and then switch back to more 2700k during my flower? My next grow in this tent will be two autoflowers in 5 gallon fabric pots in Coco perlite mix.

For veg I run 100% 5000k then swap to 2700k for flower.
The 5000k in veg keeps them short with close node spacing which I prefer. But what you have will be fine!

Cool I have extra bulbs and can always pick them up cheap at Walmart or home Depot so maybe I'll give 50 or 75% 5000k for veg the tent is 5ft tall but I do perfer close node spacing and dense buds.

I built something similar for an 11 bulb unit and like to mix the lights. A few 2700K in veg and I don't use it for flower. Got real lights for that. ;)

I get better vegging under my old bank of T-12 fluoros than the 5000K LEDs. I think they are too focused on a narrow band of light frequencies than fluoros of the same K. Even my 85W CFL shows better growth all by itself. Handy little unit tho and using it now for side lighting with some plants vegging under my 400W CMH. Wish I had more of those CMH bulbs.

I have 2 more of those 4 bulb vanity fixtures so will eventually make a removable unit I can hang on that one to make it cover more area for a total of 19 bulbs. All are on 6" centers.

In the way of spectrum I just wish I could find what chips these use and find data sheets for them so I can look at the spectrum and adjust accordingly or add in different brands also to add to the spectrum.

Ive built alot of these over the years, even built and sold to friends in the past. They all still grow pot too lol. Still use 1 i guess lol. I got like 3 seedlings and 4 clones under a 8w brite stick lol. I get 15000 lux at 12". With a 55w cfl in the same "reflector" i can barely get 10000 lux without touching the plants. Im to cheap to buy a veg tent, and this is working to well. Lol.20190526_131152_HDR.jpg 20190526_131159_HDR.jpg

This is what I use, 2700k, 660nm, uvb and a bit of 5000k.
185w actual draw.

What are you using for uvb and 660? Are they just 3w diods on star pcb's? I was thinking of ordering some of those diode's and mounting then to aluminum flat bar mounted between the side poles of the tent and sending the uv, it and deep red in from the sides

Uvb is 15w t8 reptile bulb and the 660 are epiled GU10 bulbs.
All bulbs apart from the uvb are GU10 fittings.

I like your setup. I want to do pretty much the same thing, just with my blurple in the middle. You have 42.5 watts per square foot and it’s distributed evenly.

I'm talking about the fixture as a whole, man. Come on... Itsclike at LEAST 8" tall. Boards would be less than a 1/2".
I mean yeah but until I start getting 4.5ft tall plants I'm good lol if I get to that point I'll have to rethink it or throw them in my 4x4x7 tent under different lights but so far with lst my plants aren't getting that tall.
