Screen drying vs Hanging

I'm going to trim my nugs with a trim pro style trimmer. It's the bowl shaped one that tumbles your nugs around.

This requires me to trim up all the nugs immediately from the stem. I have no desire to hange 3000 little nugs.

Can you guys post photos or share some insight about drying on a screen versus hanging them.

I'm probably going to build my own screen cabinet. Basically screen panels stacked like drawers. About 5" apart or so. They will pull out like drawers. I will still dry them in my bathroom but instead of hangers and clothes pins it will be this little screen contraption.

did you build it or buy it? I like building stuff like this but if there is a nice deal out there I would buy one.

You can build a nice DIY bud drying box out of a rubbermaid tote, some screens and a fan of some sort. Easy and cheap. ;-)

yea keep the air flowing is the key with screen drying... the difference ive exp. with hanging and screen drying is the stems. The buds tend to draw moisture from the stems, this is so that they dont dry out to quickly on the outside, since you have used a tumbler you wont have your stems. you might not like how the buds tend to get flat on the side that they are layed on... but if u have time to flip em around you'll be alright... i only screen dry if i have let hang dry for a while and then jar em up... and they still are too wet after a day or two of burping in the jar... i take em out and let em screen dry for a day. but i hope my info helps.... AND PLEASE TO ANYBODY THAT READS THIS DO NOT TRY AND TELL ME WHAT I DO IS WRONG OK!!!! lets start being a HELP on threads instead of pompous prideful pricks... :)

Yeah, just cause you start curing doesn't mean you can't pour them back out to dry some more.

Oh shit, the Chargers might actual play the Jets if the Ravens beat the Pat's. ;-)
