I currently live in Los Angeles and I am a medical marijuana patient. I have been thinking of going to school in Vancouver for a few years...any thoughts on what Vancouver is like? I'd love any input anyone has!

Thanks

Oh Yeah...does anyone have any knowledge of how well the herbalaire works and if I can buy one on the boardwalk in Venice?

Thanks :peace::peace::peace:

Hey popsicles, I'm from vancouver and I think you'll love it there especially if you are a medical usuer, you will also not miss the beaches as there are many, right downtown, theres english bay, there stanley park. Idon't know what kind of school you are taking but UBC is really good for the medical field amoung alot of other things like drama films etc etc... its the only place in canada where you have the moountains the sea and beaches all in 1 within minutes. you will always know where north is because of cypress mountain you can see the ski hill lights. you'll know what I mean if you look at pics of vancouver. esoecially now they are getting ready for the 2010 olympics expanding the skytrain(transit) and highways to whistler. that is one of the most beautiful 1hr30min drives ever all along the coastline. Vancouver is not too big but not too small at the same time. it is also one of the youngest cities in canada. I do not think you will regret it, and the border is only 25mins away from the city pretty much so if you don't like it its not too far to drive home. there are alot of pot clubs and coffee shops where you can smoke. there places in gastown where you can look at the glass counter and see what todays specials are. you can also check out commercial drive(little italy) in east vancouver, its a very multicultural place with like hippies and all other walks of life.

Anyways, hope that helps.
