Schematic for rDWC - opinions needed

Hello to all my fellow green enthusiasts,

I need your opinion on my rDWC plan, I wish to upgrade from DWC for the sole purpose of removing the air pump from the equation (they are extremely loud, even the "silent" ones are alot louder that my 5" 490cfm extraction fan and it's quite unacceptable) and I wish to have a single container for regulating nutrients and pH.

I only wish to grow only 2 plants each cycle in my 1m x1m x 2m tent (mainline method).

I will appreciate all the help I can get from anyone with a DYI rDWC project under his belt.

So what do you think? Will it perform smoothly?

Thank you for your time

The only thing not correct is that water rises linearly. It will be as high as the water in the elevated buckets

I am not sure if this qualifies as DWC , however it should work just fine. Just be mindful of the volume of water you are working with. If you intend for this system to hold less than 2 gallons, you might run into some trouble with pH and salt build up.

looks like my setup right now only my buckets arent elevated and ive got 1/2inch tee to halo drip emitters which come from a 250gph water pump returning 3/4" hose teed from `1.5"in intaking to the return tee. so ive got everyuthing returning into a small resevoir whch seems to be bottoming out as the water level decreaes bs the pump is pumping water faster through the emitters than the return is flowing into the resevoir which is less than 1.5 gallons. maybe i should out flow with a 3/4 inch pipe? i could also add another set of 1.5 inbch pipes each connecting to the resevoior and then add another airstone in the resevoir so that some microbubbles will get sucked in and out through recirculating currents...so what u got is bubbleponics. it becomes recirculating when u add a second hole to each bucket and connect them to a resevoir that is filled with microbubbles...its better to have the top feed into an elbow, though if you wanna get crazy id love to see someone pump nutes out to each bucket using a venturoi valve to create the bubbles that come from the bonttom of the bucket and float to the top. that would be pretty sick. anyway, i think the answer to my dilemma is adding a side feed to each bucket
