SC indoor Grow - but this time I know what I'm doing, I think?

So nothing in this journal is true, it is a fictional writing project, however its intent is to artistically portray the experience of an amateur grower.

day 1 - germination
seeds: bagseed, G13 Haze, Blue chimera, Skunk mix (basically the rest of my quality genetics and whatever looked decent in the bagseed)

**Jimmy seedling starter mix from lowes, and also these cool jimmy seedling starter pouches. I just followed instructions and gave them flourescents and a little daily HPS treatment with a 20-4 schedule. the thing comes with a humidity done and everything. for like $7. score.

Pics from may 21-27. The plants are lookin mighty green. I am watering to feel right now.. basically making sure the cup feels a little heavy. The genetics on a lot of the bag seed is definitely lacking...there is a pretty distinct difference between the top shelf seeds in overall health, look, strength, and symmetry.

its been 9 days since germination. Most of the plants are looking fantastic. You can tell a huge difference between the genetics from the UK and the bagseed plants. Its almost a night and day difference.

I transplanted several of my best looking "girls" (hopefully they are females). I used the flushing method, I watered all of my plants in their red party cups until they were droopy.. basically 2-3 red cups full of water per plant and then moved them over into some organic potting mix from Lowes. They have grown significantly since yesterday when I put them into the big pots.

Here's some pics of the crop so far. I have all the youngsters chillin under the HPS and when the HPS turns off (its on 12/12 for the fruiting plant) All the youngsters go down below into the lower chamber where the flouro's stay on for the full 20-4 light cycle. Last grow I did 24/7 light cycle during VEG and I really like 20/4. The plants have all been healthier and shown steady growth with good rooting. In less than 9 days, I had roots hitting the bottom of the red solo cup!

I am smokin some of the bud I harvested about a week and a half ago. Good smoke, not harsh and my gf and I were blazed has hell. Not the best obviously, but my own and that was a pretty awesome feeling.

Plants still doing very well. Used some Peruvian Seabird Guano today after letting the plants root in the new pots for a couple days. I will upload pics soon, the attachment manager has been giving me some issues. Whenever I click add pics it comes up with a new box, and when I click select files it does nothing, there is no response.

My 1 lady who is almost done with fruiting is looking pretty good. Lots of yellow fan leaves but the bud growth has stayed fairly constant and they are looking really matured.


As far as the young plants, its lookin like a forest

I need to know if I am ready to clone and I need to decide if I'm putting said clones in rockwool or if I'm going to use another one of those jimmy seedling starter pouches. I don't think I'm ready to jump to Hydroponic but I do have the ebb & flow setup for it so I might try with clones.

So in the name of space for the up and coming grow.. and because I was rounding the corner on 60% orange hairs.. I harvested and the goods are hanging up drying I doubt anyone will read this but, thank you to rui.org for all the help so far!

In other news, aka the grow that this journal is supposed to be about..
I flushed today and the plants LOVED it.
---I was seeing some nute burn on a one or two leaves and I had really held back on watering because I wanted the plants to grow deep roots in the new pots after transplant. Well, I made it rain like hell today for them and after 8
hours at work, I came back to plants that were about an inch taller and there were several new nodes. Hell ya, grow grow grow!


Saw some roots sticking through the bottom of the pot today though, Not a terrible thing, it just means that the roots are stretching down to the bottom of the pot.

In the next week, the plan is to pick a mother plant and start preparing to take clones. Then immediately switching into the 12/12 and hopefully I'll have another healthy harvest in about 11 weeks (2 weeks of veg + 8-9 weeks of flower)

So, if I were to attach a deadline (which is not normally a good idea haha I'm shooting for Aug 24 harvest or maybe the week after)

More veggin more veggin. I almost feel like the plants are growing so quickly its too fast :\ I'm worried about letting them get toooo tall and having issues with the light burning the tops of the plants during flowering.

watered a little today because the pots were getting very light, going to wait on feeding for another couple days. I don't want to burn the plants anymore than I already have.

one of my party cup plants is flowering? i'm not sure how that happend.

also, i had to toss a male plant today. chopped him and tossed him. I want to take clones but I dont want to take clones too early but I dont want to wait too long because then my girls are going to be too tall.

nah man, not South Carolina.. the SC stands for Super Closet. I am using a pre-built grow closet from the supercloset company.

so today is 21 days, the weeks since germination. I chopped a male plant the other day so now I am down to 13 plants total. one showing early sex but I'm waiting on the rest of them.
I have a couple sativa heavy plants that are struggling, pics attached. They do not seem so happy . Can anyone tell what the issue is?

I need to get a ppm meter because I am having a hard time working the appropriate amount of nutes into my regime. I do a lot of guesswork and its hurting me.

Plants are still getting taller, will clone soon and start 12/12.

I fed today, some Peruvian seabird guano. Used 1 gallon of full strength PSG and spread it over 13 plants. then used pure ph'ed water to finish off the watering.

How do you like your Supercloset which one do you have? I just bought a superdeluxe 2.0 and waiting for it do you have any suggestions I'm a first time grower thanx ps do you have pics of your cab working?
