your sig drives me nutz, I gotta put you on ignore.
and yet you found it necessary to tell me, why?

you are allowed to make your own decisions.

do you perhaps hope i'll just take it down because you'd like to continue to read me and don't know how to communicate it properly?

Take THIS seriously; in some water starved communities in Colorado, the right to hook up to city water devices is stunningly expensive. Broomfield charged over $14,000 just to hook a new house up a few years ago, I've no idea what it costs now.

If course we waste water like there's no tomorrow in this country; that's no excuse to ignore the problem or think it won't affect us.

Drip irrigation is definitely part of the solution, and so is rain water. Amazingly, in many places- including my home town- collecting rainwater that falls on one's own property is actually illegal!
