GH.3.JPG I called and Richard has the 6x8x8 SecureGrow greenhouse covers in stock, in Beverton, OR (may have Jewett show up on your c.card). Mine shipped down to San Diego for $175.00 total. I'd say that's a fair price for the growth. Mine is 2-yrs. old and the Velcro-loops at the door way pulled their stitching away from the cover is the only damage, but why wait? When that top rips in another season or so, I'll have a replacement. Now I can experiment with pop rivets and washers as repair tools and not worry about trashing the OEM cover. I like the translucent covering, it hides well. Liking the chain-link surround.
HEY!! The GH is cooled by (5) 0.23A Bed, Bath & Beyond clip fans. Only BB&B has the 0.23A. I run mine on "Low", you can't even hear them from 10' away. Are ya's listening? Call the number, order the cover, that simple. Imo, hoard one while they're in stock. You know they're made overseas and shipping them takes time to re-stock Beaverton. (Happy season up there! :))
My mods to the 6x8x8 were to remove the transom material and install 1/2 vinyl hardware cloth using pop-rivets w/ washers. Here's the link: Note: Spare yourselves my learning curve and any rants about the manufacturer. This page is about making a paper pattern and installing the vinyl covered hardware cloth in the gables. The GH has withstood 50 mph winds. I leave the door panels rolled-up halfway and the windows rolled-up off-season. The wind passes through with less ruffling of the cover.
