Sative stain?

I'm looking for a place to order beans in Canada for a good Pure sativa( purp strain preferred), does any know of a good strain and where to get femmed beans for it? Or can anyone recommend an awesome sativa strain? Thanks

If I were growing a straight sativa I focus more on bloom time more then color. Most weed can be made to color up good by low temps of your reservoir or ambient air but nothing will help if its a 100+ day bloom time. There are quite a few out there now that have 70 day or less bloom time and thats what I'd look for. Not hating here just giving you a bit of advice from past experiences...keep us posted, luck to you.

I have just the same question as you.. -Take a look in my thread- It's out of question that regular beans should be the real deal as most of the serious breeders deal only with them (Rare D, GageGreen, Bodhi etc.).
Now about (reliable) feminised seeds the list is quite narrowed. After many research and thinking, I'm pretty sure I'll go personally with AK47 from Serious seeds. Although Panama from Ace seeds sounded tempting. Good luck!

AK47 is definitely good, but is more sativa-leaning hybrid than straight sativa. I like Kali Mist from Serious Seeds for a nearly pure sativa that finishes around 12 weeks. I have a grow journal in my sig line if you want to check it out.

Most of the "name" purple strains are indica-dominant hybrids.

In my opinion, purple is mostly a gimmick, bearing no relationship whatever to the quality of the genetics or final product.

IIWY, I'd concentrate more on finding a strain that meets your OTHER needs (like flavor, ease of growth, yield, cost, etc), then color.

Yea I would love to find a pure sativa that is fast growing and awesome yield, but it's gotta be femmed beans

Sannies Killing Fields F3's or Jacks F7's are stabilized sativa strains. Killing Fields has a nice purple pheno. This may not help if your looking specifically for Canadian companies but Sannies does ship to Canada.

find a bank that sells ace seeds' oldtimer's haze. it's a true purple haze and even has a really cool sounding blackberry liquor flavor. i want to cross that with DJ shorts' grape krush myself. some of the best sources for pure sativas are ace, gage green, cannabiogen, world of seeds and holy smokes, but purple sativas aren't too common.

killing fields and jack f7 are sativa dominant hybrids. i just got my pack of jack f7 the other day actually and can't wait to test it. if you want the trippiest and most old school buzz, you should look into 14 week plus strains, but there's a lot of great hybrids that are more practical in the 9-12 week range.

hempdepot, as mentioned is a good canadian bank i used to buy joey weed seeds from all the time. they have a great selection, but seem to specialize in more expensive breeders.
