Sativa & Indica Phenos & Keif

So we're burning through our Speed Haze rather speedily My only gripe is i can't get the trichs to separate in my grinder (keif catcher). The herb is not Bone-Dry like compressed mid grade so maybe that's why. Would putting some in the freezer help the heads become brittle enough for manual-separation(grinding)?
