Sativa Dominant Outdoor Quick Flowering.

Hey all!

I need to order sativa dominant beans, one of which will be used as a mom 4/clones. These clones will be transplanted in-ground at approximately 42 or so degrees N next Summer. I have eliminated LR strains from the hunt, I'm simply too far North to try and adapt an equatorial African strain etc to a shortened growing season. At the moment, it's snowing like hell outside so this strain has to finish up by no later than mid-October or so. This gives me about 11 weeks max 4/flowering, and that's pushing it for the strains I would like to try such as Sannie's Killing Fields which is an indoor anyways. I might have to go with a skunk 1 b/c I'm running out of options.

TY in advance 4/any assistance.

I've done Mexican bagweed outdoors which looked like pure sativa and it was still going strong in mid-November just before a freeze. This was grown below 28 lat, south Texas.

Sorry, but you're gonna have to be happy with a mutt or harvest prematurely.

can you find any C99 crosses or maybe someone knows of one that will come in soon.

I'm going with a mutt, maybe Black Pearl from HGS.

Edit: I've eliminated the BP as well.

C99 is a fun strain. but it tends to be more clear headed & energetic. mosca's version is supposed to be trippy & the potent pineapple pheno, but joey weeds' version had the textbook kali mist style clear headed restless energy with euphoria buzz. i love that strain, but would never want to grow just that, but it's DEFINITELY a go to strain for breeding to IBLs with afghanicrapping all over their THC & odor profiles. i think apollo 11 might be better. it's 50% C99 with a mellower trippy strain and fast flowering too. by the time i get my last of the last JW C99 x A11s tested, they'll probably be sold out & gone forever. i think that should be a more neutral & 24/7 friendlier buzz. i WANTED to try his pure apollo, but it's been gone over half a year by now. another breeder has the "genius" pheno. i might test that next year. if you want the fastest flowering without couchlock though, yeah C99 kicks much butt. i like it better as a breeder, or spare gear for when i want to keep busy.

i don't know about thr flowering time of killing fields without looking it up again, but that one's buzz should satisfy considering someone here called it "talk to your dog trippy" and i've only seen thumbs ups so far for sannies.

i'm REALLY a big fan of high quality seeds' haze x skunk until i find something better in one way or another. i think it's a "standard" 12 week strain, but i'm pretty sure i harvested my gal before that and loved the buzz. it might have been trippier if i let it run longer, but it wasn't at all shabby when i did mow it down & it was producing a bunch of little bud sites. you could get some awesome smoke from that if you had to harvest early.

i'm really keen to test TGA subcool's jacks cleaner 2 as that's supposed to be trippy & 8-10 weeks, but TGA's "real deal" is supposed to be jack the ripper at just 9 weeks. i just don't like the name on that one, but JC2 is 50% ripper and original jack's cleaners isn't shabby either. a lot of TGA's gear has a trippy edge to it from what someone here said. i'm sure you could do far worse than jack the ripper in your quest for a speedy high.

C99 might be a good choice as it usually finishes around 7-8 weeks, under normal conditions.....all depends on conditions like temps. I still have the old Brother's Grimm "In/Out Mix" with the lineage that led up to C99 like Apollo, Princess. Funny, I bought the BG I/O mix from the now defunct Heaven's Stairways for $1.00/seed. Also did C99 backcrosses and out crosses with TFD's O. Haze and Peak19. What I like about C99 is the fruit on the back palate when you exhale. High is up.

Here's a few photos of my C99.

18" cola, harvested around week 7-8. Note the abundance of fan leaves come harvest. May be a little lime green but dem suckas are still producing carbos for bud and cannabanoid production and maturation! ;)

imagine how much better the street scene would be today if everything for indoor grows was built around C99 & ruderalis instead of afghani!

here's to hoping cindy keeps making her way into crosses and increasing the likelihood that people that want to get high or that never have finally can.

i really want to try apollo 11 now. if it's 50% C99, it can't be as knock you on your ass couchlocking as i was always afraid it was back when i couldn't get an honest smoke report on ANYTHING no matter how much or long i begged & pleaded.

unless someone comes up with a 2 foot tall thai that finishes in 50 days, i intend to keep some kind of C99 and/or A11 around. i grabbed some cross of the two from joey weed before it's gone. i will be VERY surprised if i don't like that! i think i'll like it even better than pure cindy. it should slow the buzz down enough that you don't have to stay constantly busy and hopefully has some trippiness going on, even if it's not a lot. that could end up being my go to IBL breeder until i try mosca's potent pinapple anyways.

Hey Uncle,

Thanks for the pics and input, very informative info as usual. Would you be willing to recommend a breeder for this strain?. I tried to PM, but your option is blocked.

Biz.

Don't have a clue for a breeder, sorry. And don't get worked up too much about C99. I'd look at the original Jack Herer if I were you. My avatar was a Positronics JH.

I've grown alot of tga strains, and they are mostly sativa dominant hybrids that finish in 8-10 weeks. Vortex(sativa dominant 8-9 week flowering time), Jillybean(indica/sativa 8-9 weeks), Qrazytrain(9 week flowering), Pandora's Box (sativa dom 9-10 week flowering), Agent Orange(sativa/indica hybrid- 9 week flowering time), DairyQueen (sativa/indica 8 week flowering time), Chernobyl (sativa dom 10 week flowering or less)
