Santa autoflower & speedy gonzales autoflower

I have ordered 2 Santa seeds and 2 speedy gonzales seeds from flash seeds co about 2 days ago. I should be getting them in the next 4-5 days from now. I'm really excited! First autoflower grow I that I have ever tried. I have looked for forums and other videos of these strains and nothing comes up so..... Ima start a journal on them myself. If any one has herd anything about these strains please tell me your feed back. Keep you updated!

Been waiting for someone to grow the speedy gonzales. It looks like a true winner. Keep us udpated

i got a speedygonzales about to harvest at around 25 inches and just coated with crystals...i am still waiting on the trichs to change to milky and some amber...if i can find my charger soon i will be posting pictures

Santa is described as the Holy Grail. I'd like to hear more from those that have experience with that strain.

Thanks guys. I really thought no one would take itntrest in this thread. Well it's day 6 of waiting for my seeds still. I'm expecting them today or tomorrow. I'm very excited to do this grow. First autoflower grow. Always heard good things about auto flowering strains about speed,size and quality! Not saying it's better then our normal stuff I just know autoflowering strains have came a long wayyyyyy!

I'm interested in this grow too. I'm growing some purple mazars from flash seeds right now and so far I'm pretty impressed with the plants. I bought their seeds because it was my first attempt at autoflowers and they were cheap and you could get them non-feminized. There is almost no info about any of their strains online, so it will be interesting to see how yours go.

Purple mazer!!! Lucky! I was going to order some of those but they where out of stock. Please post pics of it! I always try to look on the Internet for info on Santa and speedy Gonzales and nothing comes up. I think it's cuz flash seeds are fairly new. Oh by the way it's 4:31 and my mail came and no seeds today. :/

Im growing both santa and speedy gonzales, Santa is male, speedy is female, i plan on breeding them. Id recommend and buy them again, in fact i have 4 Speedy's and 10 santas on the way.. Check out my journal under my sig. Im gonna stay tuned to this one and see how it does for u

Sweet guys thanks. At first I almost did not post this up because i thought No one would post anything. That makes me dedicated. Lol . I was also planing on trying to breed Santa and speedy. I only got 4 seeds just due to my money and space right now. But....at least one of those four are going to ba male and i would love to breed them and get me some autoflower seeds! Let me know how yours is going.

Out of 4 plants, you should have atleast one male and female to breed.

Just picked up 2 NYC diesel clones. Funny story went on craigslist bought an 8th for my pain and received 2 free clones!! Sweet right! Just thought I would update that. They are around 12 inchs and I'm putting them into flower right away. Still waiting for my auto seeds

Good man! Im glad you took my advice on finding clones(even if it did come by accident) and throwing them straight to flower, it will be a good comparison for your auto, then youll see why i said workin from clones is the shit..

Yeah what I really want is 3 females out of 4. That's what I'm shooting for. I'm really excited.

Yeah well we will see. I know from clo e is sweet due to the female but I think ima like these autoflower strains

Ok, here's a few pic of my mazars.
View attachment 1249654 These 3 are 57 days old. They showed their sex at 20 days. The taller ones are only about 11 inches tall. The short one is the one that I pollenated. It's little, but loaded with seeds.
This one is about 50 days old.
The cabinet they are growing in. It's my vegg cabinet, so it has some other stuff in it too.

Out of 10 seeds I spouted five at a time. I got two out of the first five (both female), but I blame the three that didn't sprout on myself. Out of the second 5, 4 spouted and I got 3 females and one male.
I got a couple different phenotypes out of those that sprouted, one is really purple and crystally, the other is a little leafier, greener and has less triches. I bred the one female that showed it's sex first and it looks to be the more resious pheno.
I'm going to let them all go for about 2 more weeks, and give them a good flush when I water them next to try to bring out more of the purple color. i know it doesn't really mean anything, but it looks cool.

So I'm looking to breed my autos also.... How do I pollinate one plant and will that plant I just pollenated will it effect the rest of my garden? Kinda lost.

I just took my male and put him in another room under a 23 watt cfl and harvested some pollen as described above over about a week I had a a nice little bit in a jar, then took my female that showed flowers the fastest and pollenated her as described above in another room. I then killed the male and left the female under the little light for another week to make sure the pollen took, then cleaned the pollenated female up real good and put her back in my cabinet. I have one plant loaded with seeds and all my others have no seeds.
