Didnt see this thanks.
According to that the LT-Q562A is a tiny bit more efficient that the LT-F562b under 900ma and is 20% cheaper on 10+units?

So for strip builds should we be using the q series instead of the f series. You could have an extra 2 strips just at the price difference.

At same or comparable wattage? Don't think so. And you can't compare the efficiancy based only on lumens.

F Series all the time ...
Same wattage, same current (at 900 mA and below), same power, same strip length, same CCT/CRI produces almost identical output levels and efficacy between the F-series Gen 3 and the Q series. Run the simulations yourself. I just noticed this a few minutes ago myself while playing with the simulator.

Ok, they got a lot cheaper now. This may be a game changer.

But, the lm301b spectrum is more lumen oriented, which means more green/yellow. The Q Series is only rated at 450mA whereas the F series is rated at 1120mA. The pcb thickness of the F series is 1 mm whereas the pcb of the Q series is 1.6 mm thick which means the thermal management of the F series is a bit better when attached to a c-channel or an other piece of aluminium which you always do.

So in my opinion the F series is still the better strip to grow weed because of its slightly better spectrum and thermal management and because of this beeing probably at least as efficient as the Q series (not based on lumens but on PAR watts). But price wise, the Q series seems to be the better choice now.
