Samsara Holy Grail 69 Fem 23W micro scrog

Today, Sunday October 4th, 2015 I constructed a micro grow tent out of a shoebox, some bamboo, polythene sheet, Gorilla Tape and Sellotape. The inside is completely foil lined from floor to ceiling and there is a 4" usb fan in the roof for extraction. Inside hangs a 23w daylight CFL and there is a hanging flap for access which can be taped open if ventilation is needed. Haven't installed the scrogging yet but I plan to do it with string and more sellotape. I will make the scrogging a shallow v shape and top the plant sending a stem up each side of the v. I haven't measured the tent but it can't be more than 2ft tall so with the light fitting, the e27 adaptor, the bulb and the pot, there's not much room for the plant. I will stick with 23w throughout the grow and my target yield will be 14 grams dry. The seed (Samsara Holy Grail 69 in case you forgot to read this post's title), was a freebie from Herbies. I'm not home right now so photos tomorrow.

It's still growing - albeit slowly with only 23W!

I'm a long way off putting into flower and I think my original target of 14G from 23W was crazy talk. I'd be happy to get an eighth! I will post a pic in the next day or so. How's your's coming along?

I got a baggy on the go myself which is doing nicely and 3 dream machine clones which look promising. Speed Bud, Fast Bud #2, Jock Horror, Holy Grail 69, Afghani and last but not least NLxBB.

There ya go - here's the little beauty under her 23W bulb. I must say, I do feel a little cruel giving her so little light.

Ok, I've made an executive decision. This was growing far too slowly and I've had enough of low yields. I've moved her to the main grow space where she has started to flourish. I now plan to veg her large with a couple of other plants I have. I will post a pic in a few days after I've repotted her.

Thanks. The conclusion was you can't grow shit with just one 23W bulb! Lol - she is really starting to flourish now. I've just topped her and planted the top as a clone. will post some picks very soon.

looks nice and bushy. Did you top her? I want to get mine to at least 2ft before I flower her. Right now she's approaching 7"

Yes I topped three times and super cropped. I was only going to top twice, but I also got some afghani freebies from Herbie's, and those sons of bitches are SLOOOWWWWW so I had some extra time to get another topping done on the HG69. I have a diary going for this grow that also has some blue dream and golden goat in it.

And as far as height goes on flowering, she barely did any stretching, so that's a good idea to get her a little bigger first. I was actually very surprised w the lack of stretch considering the haze component to it

I will sub your diary. How long did you veg for? I have no set time limit for the 3 or 4 I'm vegging. I will wait until I think they can support a shit load of bud before flipping them. Lol, I'm also growing one of those Afghani freebies. It's a bit stringy and I'm just waiting to see what sex it is from a cutting. I've also got a Dream Machine clone which is doing nicely and a bag seed which I have named Bagpuss which is looking awesome (also waiting to sex). On the left, the Dream Machine clone. Next at the back is Holy Grail 69. The next big pot containing a couple of smaller pots is Bagpuss. Balanced on the edge of the box at the back is my shitty 60 day old Fast Bud #2 and tucked down on the floor on the right is the Afghani.

I believe I vegged the afghani and HG69 for 4-5 weeks, the afghani' rootball broke up during transplant and I'm wondering if that could account for it being so far behind...it's looking good now though.
