Salvia at work?

So I went down to the eastern shore the other day with my boss, and we cut back saliva plants. Anyone know how to harvest these?

from wut i heard was u dry the leaves up and smoke it up... when you toke it u are suppose to hold it in as long as you can...you can also chew on it but take a bit for it to kick in but lasts longer
