my 18" $250 diffused double tree perk 5mm thick ice catcher bong just broke a few hours ago and i am depressed, w/e tho i guess that means it's time for a new bong, gonna go bigger this time...
i was looking last night at the bong and I noticed a little crack at the bottom of it, then when i went to clean it today with alcohol and salt the crack just expanded when i was shaking it and then snap...
my question for you guys is why do you think it broke, my bro sais it's because the salt expanded, but i think it's from the shaking, here's a picture

If it was a clean break you could put the piece back together, have ur bro hold it in place and tight... then apply a heavy coat of epoxy along the crack, hold it for 5 minutes to let it set, and then use it again in like 24-48 hours...

I've fixed a few clean breaks like that.

Epoxy is the shit, make sure you get the kind where it's two different liquids that mix together to form the glue. That's the 'real' shit ;-)

Wow, talk about a serious sentimental attachment problems.... it is just a bong man
You should take this opportunity to buy a new one ... a better one .... now that you know that u like bongs.
No I am not a hater ... if my old bong would not break .... I would have never invested in a vape ..... I love anything that
initiates change .... then I improve on what I have learned !!

Ya, if you got a clean brake .... epoxy is your daddy !!

isn't epoxy a respiratory irritant? I guess if it's not being heated it doesn't matter? I duno but I used it to fix my hammer bubbler and I'm afraid to smoke out of it since the bowl/downstem is kinda close to the glue but not directly touching at all. what you guys think, paranoia or legit fear?

as long as it doesn't break up into a whole bunch of little glass shards and yours looks like thats not the case, then you can fix it with epoxy or gorilla glue.

hell, i sealed a 2 inch hole in my bong (at the beaker bottom) with fiber glass and gorilla glue.

Why does he have "serious sentimental attachment problems"?

I guess him being upset about something he liked and enjoyed daily makes him nuts. He's not cutting his wrists. He may not have money to blow so breaking anything that's $250 is gonna suck.

Check out HiSi glass. There sick and strong.

Home Depot sells Gorilla Glue (or something like that) that is water proof and can be used successfully to piece pieces back together.....

if you're spending anywhere within the 250 dollar range, you should get a herbalaire.

no glass to break. plus bag vaping is so much better than smoking.
