This should not be news to many people, but Russian fighter jets have had a hard time telling friend from foe in Syria. I mean after all they are there to attack ISIS, but so far those guy's have been getting a free pass, while the good guys are getting their asses blown up.
Russian air strikes killed a rebel commander and four other fighters yesterday from a group armed by the US and the strike also killed 45 civilians who had gone to the site to help, but the Russians had just circled around for awhile and waited for aid to arrive and then blasted them again.(fooled ya)
The attack on Monday evening marked the third time Russian war planes have targeted the First Coastal Division group since Moscow began its air strikes in support of Assad on Sept. 30. The kicker is that this rebel group was trained by the US, and was armed and supplied with anti-tank rockets by the CIA. Personally, I think it's time to say fuck this to Russia and start handing out some 1 man Stinger ground to air missiles, like the ones we gave the Taliban in Afghanistan in the 80's. It worked then, why not now?
Personally, I think its about time someone told that megalomaniac Putin to go fuck yourself, and Obama should be the guy to do it (leave it for Trump to clean up the mess) Up the ante, and give the rebels some missiles and let them sail a couple up the tailpipes of those jets.
Let's see how Russia deals with that.
