Russia is supporting Bernie Sanders as well as Trump again in 2020.

It looks like it was not just 2016 that the Russians were supporting Bernie Sander's candidacy for the Democratic nomination. And it was also not just an anti-Hillary Clinton campaign that they were running. They are still pushing Sanders, and he has known this for the last month.

Creating division, and influencing out elections are serious threats.
Trump is like officer Barbrady in southpark "move along, nothing to see here".
Both parties, as well as all of us should be very concerned. This is an attack on our system.
Electoral is the easiest to manipulate so it should go first.

I think the place to start is a a nice new law that says once politicians are sworn in (at time they sign up to run for public office) they are bound by law to tell the truth at all times just like anyone lying to congress while under oath would be.

I mean whats the chances the Russians have something actually bad on Bernie?

The KGB was big on hidden cameras in rooms of visiting politicians, and he was on his honeymoon in Moscow. If he gets the Democratic nominee I really hope that it is not something worse than the obvious.

It is. It's been hard for me not to hold it against Bernie. The problem is that a lot of the mindless dolts who support him are very easily influenced by foreign efforts to get Trump elected. I support many of Bernie's policies but ultimately I just don't think he'll be very good at getting them done.

Russia is winning because of threads like this, this is what Russia wants and your feeding right into it. I said it before, if Russia doesn't like a democratic candidate all they have to do is pretend to support that candidate. Congratulations for giving Russia what they really want, which is to sow discord in American politics.

Im sorry but I am not buying that pointing out that Russia is helping candidates is a bad thing when they are helping them. If Bernie supporters and Bernie's campaign would bring a spotlight on it more people would start to understand the very real problem that the Russians are causing in our societies.

Sticking our head in the mud is not the right call, ignoring it will not make it go away.

If it was 2015, early 2016, I would have agreed with you, but we know better now. Everyone is under attack, down to our countries children, and if we don't start getting all Americans (and every other citizen of democracies) on the same page with what is happening it's only going to get worse.

Defiantly saying what we should be able to expect from our elected leaders when they find out about the Russian military helping them get elected.

Unlike Gabbard and Trump doing the Russian spin 101 when they get asked about it. Pretty refreshing to see Bernie say what should be said.

Also just saw a video that Trump at his rally was spouting off about Bernie and the Russians, brought up the video of him in Moscow during his honeymoon. Which is important, because it meant that Trump knew about this and was ready to use whatever they have from it if he got Bernie in the general election.

He had to pull the 'attack the news' card at the end, which does bother me. It's not on them that he did not let us know as soon as he did about the Russian election help his campaign was getting. Trump firing the DNI for telling congress that our elections are under attack once again is was what brought this out into the press over the last couple days.
