RUSSET MITES

Yall think its safe to say this is what im dealing with? Brown, taco leafed lower buds?
If so.......
Organicide?
Azamax?
Avid
Or floamite?

Ive got a few that are up to 4 weeks of flower.... Some are just starting to turn.

Thoughts?

Yes, looks like it. Floramite will not kill those I don't think. You would have to go with abamectin (avid). It does not kill eggs so you would have to spray more than once. I think eggs hatch every 3 days or so?? Not positive on that. Be advised, it is very poisonous.

If i released lady bugs....would that even benefit @ this point...this late into flower?

too high heat, too low humidity.

You can use organic stuff for flowering plants. Doctor Zymes and Green Clean are good

it's not mites so lady birds won't do a thing but fly away.

He has russet mites. Looks exactly like their damage. I have them too

I dunno lol but I've had russet mites the last 3 years and his pics look similar to my lower branches when they start budding

If mites, try putting a Hot Shot pest strip on the plant and cover with a large garbage bag at night. Or Mighty Wash is ok in flower.

I've only dealt with russet mites in veg and know Forbid will wipe them out, but don't think Forbid is ok in flower. Russets will definitely produce cupped leaves like yours but I could not diagnose just from your photos.

Theyre mites.... Ive suffered from heat stress before & can spot the difference....my debate was mites or some type of mildew/mold......
Humidity fluctuates do to the heavy water collection from watering.
Not sure what being a member for how long has to do with anything.....ive been growing for 6 seasons....lurking for about 7 years on here, & made an account 2 months ago........ive dealt with spidermites,budworms & some rot in the past..... Just never dealt with russet mites.

Pull a leaf and scope the stem. If they're there you will see them. You need at least 60x.

Ok well....im gonna spray for mites & cross fingers. Is it true these things live on top of the leaves unlike spidermites?

Yup, forbid works great but only in veg, don't want to smoke that.

Russet mites are microscopic, need a like 40 x scope to see them. You can try to control them but avid and forbid work great but are not something I would smoke.

Green cleaner is great but haven't tryed it on russets.
