Running two qb648 with 150watts

I'm sure it will run one, but I don't believe HLG will support it and may invalidate your warranty. I've run four QB304 in parallel when it wasn't advised to do so, with no issues. But there is a risk involved. I'd say, keep an eye on driver temps. Meanwell drivers are pretty rugged though. I have several that have been running for years almost non stop.

Well for now my 150h-54 is running one board just fine I have it on 16 on 8 off. What driver you think would be good to run two boards at 300+w with adjustable dimming

Tangos was their response and how I got the second board was I broke the plastic tab trying to remove the wire when I was first building it. I asked hlg if they could send a new plastic connection to solder on and they sent me a whole new board so I got two now lol I wanted to buy another anyways lmao

You can lower it if you've got 2 boards vs one with the same wattage. That's the beauty of this. Better spread.
Sweet thanks for the info
beautiful!!
I always try to run my LEDs at low wattages closer to the canopy, to save diode life and increase efficiency
looks like its good man I'm glad you figured it all out
Like mentioned already, it never hurts to take a temp reading of the boards and drivers after things are hooked up and they're running for a bit
yea I plan to get reading on everything ones I get the shit to do that lmao but driver feels like 100 degrees maybe lol warm not hot. Those drivers throw some heat damn I’m glad it isn’t in my tent

the two wired in series on a c2100 fucked up an bought recommended thinking I would get 300+ watch but reality I need the c2800 for the wattage I want! But I read some thread about these efficient leds are different and the 200+ I’m getting rn is plenty for flower. But I still need a meter
