Running out of vertical room

I have run into that before and I have tied the tops down and I have done late supercropping and once I took a piece of wire about the thickness of a wire coat hanger and made something of a widely snaking shape. I made a round bend to the left and then went about 6 inches and then a round bend up that went about 4 inches and then another round bend to the right that went about a foot and then another round bend upwards and to the left again back to center. I used zip-ties and plant tape to attach it to the stem where it was hardened off and then started where the stem would bend and used plant tape to tie it to the wire frame and after that kept tying it down. It got about 26 inches of vertical growth in about 8 or 10 inches of height by making it snake around to the frame.

this happened to me this grow, first time i've had good genetics and this bad boy stretched as tall as Yao Ming. the buds are like growing into my 400w hps, little light stress, but seems to be ok, i actually last minute in the 3rd week of flower cut the top off 8 inches from the light and it still grew into the damn light!!! goodluck with the problem!
