I don't understand...why grow like this? Is it cause its a budget grow? Somebody tell me why waste the time and energy to do a grow inside a rubbermaid tote! I admit I am amazed that you have done with those tiny cfl's instead of all the tiny ones why not one 250 watt cfl? Sorry if I sound like a hater but imo growing like this is abuse to the plants!

How can anyone sit there & say that a plant as beautiful and as healthy as this one is being abused is beyond me. Honestly. Dude I'm growing in a fucking GREENHOUSE that is INDOORS! lol! With CFLs nonetheless! It's not abuse just because it's not the "accepted" method for growing great nugget. You don't have to have an elaborate $1000+ setup to grow incredible buds.

another reason is space, I probly have the space for a 100wt hps, but no way of ventilating it, I can't be cutting holes in my walls. I also like that its contained cuz my room is kinda dirty, and the rubbermaids are isolated from all that. its a perfectly viable set up if you don't veg your plants too long, and know what you have ahead of time.

Very nice. I'm on day 4 of vegging with my rubbermaid setup. I need to start a journal though. I'm using 1 tote right now with the lights setup on the lid. Just so the lights are closer. In 2-3 weeks, I will be installing the 2nd top tote with a more elaborate idea for my lights. I'm thinking of getting a bin that is kitty litter box sized and then installing it to the top tote after making the right cuts. This should give more height room. Under that bin, or in between the tote will be a piece of plexi glass with holes drilled for air movement. I'll seal it all with caulk. Furthermore, on top of the 'lightbox' bin, I will be making a circle cut big enough to exhaust a 120mm 110 CFM pc fan. The fan will exhaust into a scrubber I will have to make. Thoughts? Hopefully that adds more inspiration to your setup which looks good so far. I'm keeping this on watch

I like the single tote style. was thinking about making one to use for clones. I was going to use a 120mm fan my friend had gave me but it was too loud, but with that 120mm you should have more than enough air flow to vent your box. As for the lightbox it sounds awesome the extra room will be awesome
