RQ seeds|NL Auto question

well u are going to notice a change soon

before it was using to much water and not enough food so up was going up ......mineral build up
run on the 12 /12 for a few more days then go back to 20/4 ......u will notice the water lvl going down and the ph going down too .......i shoot for 5.8 that is hyrdo golden zone for all mineral/food intake

what i would doo is top the water off each day and check the ph 2 times a day(when u get up before u go to sleep) .......on the 3/4 day of the week when i topped it off i would add in 1 gallon of feed mix to replace what was taken ....then on the 7day day flush the system out redo the water and food ...repeat

So ya basically diluting until day 3/4 of the week?
The plant only drinks about 1 to 1.5 liters a day out of its entire 12 res ,which i have no problem topping with the relevant solution mixed in,to keep the ppm steady.
And also i've had it 18/6 before,not 20/4,should I still go 20/4?Is 20/4 the schrclude you're going for with ur autos?

i think of the water/feed in the system as a 1 week amount ......on day 3/4 of that week when u add the water in mix 1 gallon worth of feed (4 mls of this 2 mls of that 3 mls of that one 8 mls of that ) what ever u would mix up for 1 gallon of water .....when u get to day 7 dump all the water out and redo it with fresh feed/water

yah 20/4 gives u the best thickness and best resin weight ...........i run my veggie on 20/4 cycle my flower is little different the light has power increments (gets 20 hours of full power light 1 hour of total darkness and 2 hour build up to full power and 1 hour decreasing power to black out) .....my flowering light has 3 modes veggie flower and UV i use the flower and UV
20/4 will get u your best out of the plant

when u get more time into it u will start with UV and 10k light for finishing (thickens them up more and forces resins out)

I topped mine/lst and had them in 3 gal pots. They finished @ 1.5ft or less consistently and yielded ~ an ounce each but I never weighed any of it. I tried over ripening/hermieing them for pollen with no such luck. PS they were outdoors in partial sun.

you topped an auto?isn't there some kind of problem with that ?

Taken this afternoon,8 days flowering now,flipped to 20/4 yesterday.
I'd say she grew quite a bit

keep it on a 50/50 grow bloom mix for a while longer ........u have the start of a monster

what did the water test show man

thats how they act when you feed em .... i bet that root ball has doubled size as well auto's can grow a inch a day easy and just a fyi its not really flowering until vertical stretch has stopped.... but guess it doesnt matter runnin lucas

i would pull that main cola down to even the canopy up a bit .... what is the specs on your light ?
and whats the N-P-K on the bloom youre running ? just being nosey

No probs broThe NPK on the bloom is 0 5 4,and the light is a 300w led,3w elipsar chips...if you mean like wave lengh/color ratio its:430~440nm, 450~460nm, 610-615nm, 620~630nm, 650~660nm, and white, IR (730nm) ,380 - 400nm

i run my led's which are 3w diodes at about 18-24" from the canopy .... dont know what you got going but it looks like you have it pretty high i guess cant see it so i assume ..... do you have any kind of veg nutes ? auto's require a little bit of N at this stage still and even a week or so after its actually stopped growing taller and starts setting flowers .... it wouldnt take much just a splash to give it some kind of nitrogen

well yea man,it looks like it,I mean, I want to believe they are doing enough progress but the flowers seem too small if you take in account the fact that the plant should be done in about 20 days :S
here are some photos i too just now,I cant take her out of the tent to take some good ones cuz shes barley fits through and its a real hassle to get her out,I do it only when i have to now, so ill take some pictures tomorrow when shell be out




And the little fella,3 days from seed,shoved seed straight into those root riot cubes,first time using em,so far great results!

the bigger the plant the longer they take ..... but the more they yield .... and they always take longer than what breeders claim ..... if i had to guess your chop would be somewhere between weeks 12 and 14 but nothing is set in stone until youve ran a strain many times and even then it varies ..... did you wash the hydroton?? before you used it .... EDIT *** just noticed you said root riot cube thought you were talking about the clay balls
