how would i give my girl some hydrogen peroxide?

I wasn't too sure the base of my plant was rotting or not but these past two days have surely shown it is.
Today the plant is clearly unbalanced and I wouldn't say it will last a week or two..:(

anyone know a few things about my troubles?

Thanks

35 % H202 would help. Can't use it if you are using organic nutes. Organic reservoirs have enzimes that help break down the organic nutes so the plants can use them. If you put in H2O2 it will kill the emzimes. H202 also adds extra O2 which the plants like. Don't use the 3% you get at the drug store. Go to a Hydro shop and get 35%. I use it at a concentration of 0.5ml per liter.

Good luck

It would be hard to say. Depends on how much damage there is. It maybe be to far gone. I use the H2O2 all the time. I also use air bubblers in the res. It is a good habit to get into. Keeps the roots nice and healthy and make sure there is lots of O2 available to the plants. Make sure that you res is not to cold as well. If it is sitting on concrete then it may get to cold and cause your problem as well. Just place a peice of fome between the res and the floor and that should be good enough. If not you can add an aquarium heater and set it to 65 f.

How often do you add it to your res? I heard you have to add it every couple of days. Is that true?

I'm having some root-rot issues in my setup and have H2O2 coming in the mail (hopefully within a day or 2).
