Rooted, Nute Change, Now They're Sad...Suggestions?

So my big plants are in cocoa, but I decided to use my formerly basil producing aerogarden as a cloner this time. I put them directly into the water under light with rooting formula in the water. They mostly rooted fine with only one or two casualties, although about half of them that rooted looked sad, the smaller ones. But I figured since they're rooted, it's time to switch to veg nutrients. After the switch all but two are now looking sad and I'm not sure what to do. By sad I mean wrinkled, wilting, and starting to yellow. So far I've lessened the nutrients in the water and scrubbed out the unit. I've also raised the neck a few more spots so they have a little more than half a foot between them and the light. Any suggestions for a pick me up? Part of me thinks maybe I should just transplant them into cocoa now??
