Root rot?

My girls are outdoor led in 300 gallons bags. I’ve been giving them water only when the soil looks dry. It’s hot out here from 80-105 degrees so they dry out really fast. All my plants looks like the have root rot. Most of them have them only on the main tops in the middle but the outer tops and side branches looks good with good green growth. The middles of the plants looks stunted. Anyone experienced this? What can I do to get those middle tops and in some cases almost the whole plant to thrive again? Plz help... thank you!

These are in raised beds....I always thought that if it was too much water or too little water it would affect the whole plant...but it’s starts with the mains tops in the middle with these. I tried letting it dried out but the outer branches or top would start to droop so I have no choice but to water. I’m outta of ideas...I’m hoping someone with more outside experience could help...thanks

I’ve scooped already with 100x...there’s no mites...its getting 1 teaspoon Maxsea,1 teaspoon Growmore 30-10-10 and 1 teaspoon Cal-mag+ per gallon....I haven’t inoculate with microbial yet since I’m using the growmore 30-10-10, I wasn’t sure if adding microbial would help since it’s highly synthetic and high in nitro. If I do, what would you recommend? Thanks

Oh and my ph for both water and feed is around 6.0. The plants seems to love it every time until recently when I noticed the middle tops stunted growth just like an overwatered plant except it’s start in the middle not the whole plant at once

The microbes will still thrive, consider Unleash organics: https://www.monstergardens.com/unleash-organic-solution-16-oz?search=Unleash&category_id=0
It offers a massive population of bacterial spores aimed at improving uptake of all micro and macro nutrients.

The application is only 1ml per gallon too... You'll notice a boost in vigor almost immediately.

I give them 1 tsp growmore 30-10-10, 1 teaspoon Maxsea, and 1 tsp cal-mag+....about 5 gallon each feeding and watering everyday since they usually dry up near the end of each day. If I don’t they start to droop. My wild guess is that it’s either too much watering or not enough water each time I water. Right now I’m leaning towards not enough water each time cuz I have a buddy of mine that water almost twice as much as me with the same feed program and his is fine. I’m gonna give it twice as much water and see if it comes back since it look twice as bad today with the heat and crazy 20 mph wind. Thanks

I think you're on the money TBH.
Theres no way 300 gallon of soil is drying in a day.
It does sound like its wet in the centre continuously.
Are you getting plenty of runoff each time? Several gallons or so? Even more.

Im of the opinion to leave it for a good 5-7 days. Even longer. Then flood it.
Its rhe same principle as watering your vegetable bed. Water less frequently. But saturate the garden when you do.

Soil is an extremely good insulator. I guarantee 300 gallons of soil will stay damp for well over a couple of days. Even if it is hot outside.

Only fresh water until they perk back up.

I only give them around 5 gallons of water each day though that’s why I water them everyday because I was thinking maybe lighter water more frequently would be more effective.. it prove to be wrong in my case.

I like hydrogard as a preventative and cure, got sloppy and it's saved me more than once. Try not to only water center, the roots need to reach out and 5 gallons every day could be a lot of the plant isn't able to drink what you are giving it. Are the edges dry?

5 gal in 300 gal pots probably is drying out in a day while the rest of the roots desiccate. just like indoors water until saturation then dont touch until dry. even in a storm your plants canopy blocks most of the water when in a raised bed and only the top few inches moisten. i would give them 5 gal at a time waiting 5 min between buckets untill i see runoff. it may take 60-70 gal

I would try to stand up a few 2x4's {or something} spaced apart on the south side so when the sun goes by the shadow from the boards offer some relief from the heat and see if that helps.

Thanks guys...it was definitely not enough water...I double the water last night and today went through watering the edges soaking it completely...I will put up some update pics in few days. Most of the tops are coming back already and showing signs of light greenish perky growth.
