Root Rot & Hydrogen Peroxide uses (?)

Root rot is basically caused by a lack of oxygen to the roots. Could H2O2 help prevent this? My plant just got hit by TS Fay (LOTS of rain, strong winds) and isn't looking too good...at all.

If anyone knows of a way to help counter root rot, please help! The only other thing that I can think of would be transplanting it, but the storm really seems to have shocked it enough, so I'm not sure if I want to do that.

Agreed h2o2 will help BUT you still have to determine why? Are you feeding it too much water and not letting the roots get o2? Also if you are growing organicly h2o2 will kill benificial bacteria as well. Dont use walmart h2o2 use 35% and delute it (1 tsp per gallon is strong)

I'm not feeding it too much water, Tropical Storm Fay is the one to blame.

Yes, it is an organic grow...so now I'm really caught in a bind; I don't want to lose these beneficial bacteria, but I don't want to lose my plant either. I have more of my organic nutes, and I figured that the soil has been sufficiently flushed so I would have to add more anyway, but I don't want to damage the plant.

Yeah, 35% H2O2 is very strong. I have 3% stabilized H2O2, so I would think that that should be fine...since it's 97% H2O already...

The problem with the 3% is the stableizers. It is better to dilute 35% to 3%
