H2O2 will help but it is just a bandaid for a larger issue. Root-rot is cause by a lack of o2 in the root region. You need more air bubbles or less heat in reservoir. 70F is a good temp for DWC to avoid root issues. If temps are fine get a bigger airpump. Go with 1 watt per 100W of light. For example if you have a 600W light get a 6W airpump. This is a proven ratio. Good luck!:bigjoint:

Yes. H202 dissolves in seconds in the res tank and breaks down to water and o2. Feel free to use it right up to harvest. If you are using the 3% stuff then use 15ml/ gallon. I like the 35% stuff available from hydro store. Less buffers in it and you use 1.5ml/gallon. Let me know how it goes. :joint:

Ummm if the roots are just getting offwhite, kinda golden colored, its not root rot. If there is a disgusting rotting potato smell coming from the roots, then that IS root rot. There will be a difference. The golden honey colored roots are normal, they can get like that from the ferts used and then some are just naturally yellowish.

Give it the smell check before you jump to any conclusions, keep ther water temps under 75F and lots of bubbles in the water and it should be alright.
