Roorganic purple dream PAR lights

all set up and ready to go

Set-up

8x24w t5 lights
homemade organic soil mix (following subs recipe)
20l squat pots
water only nothing added during the grow

2 x Purple dream reg seeds from Grand daddy purple (freebies from an attitude order)

Questions
Anyone grown these before....any hints tips....... what things to look out for to identify possible pheno types?
Had a quick look around online and it seems to be more adapted to outdoor growing.. anyone had any issues trying to get this strain to perform well under artificial lighting?
Once germinated will keep this thread regularly updated

The lighting system is bolted to the ceiling this time. I decided it looks much better than being on chains and provides a lot more head room for more bud growth

ive not smoked anything purple yet

what makes them so distinctive? flavour? high?

The true purples i've had all had a distinct flavour and appeal to them. It's like they tasted "purple".

So as usual no wet paper towels, no humid domes, no heat mats...

just planted straight into all mix and watered

and 3 days later

Purple dream A has broke the surface

Hopefully Purple dream B wont be too far away now

So not massively impressed with the early vigour of these beans

purple dream A had started to grow upside down so needed turning as the tap root was poking above surface not seen this happen before ha. after been turned and re buried it has still hardly broken away from its shell and is taking its sweet time. I think when I planted my TGA it germed a lot quicker. if this was a breeding project they would of been chucked already. But since im just learning at the moment I am going to stick with them

Maybe A just needs some time to recover from the stress of being replanted so early :S

Purple dream B still hasn't surfaced.

will update if there is any progress but a lil disappointed at the moment.

ok so having some real annoying issues with this run/.... haha tis the life....

my lighting seems to be working great... just minus 2 bulbs ....so this along with a miss calculated transplant has really slowed things down...
but the Purple dream A is back in the groove now
B stil hasn't germinated and ive lost hope on it.. so praying this lone one will be a female
