Rooms starting to stink. Bigger fan? less ducting?

Ok so my area is 90 inches by 75 inches with 9 foot ceiling. Right now I am using a 95CFM squirrel cage for intake and a 180CFM squirrel cage for exhaust with carbon filter hooked up to it. Pulling through fan with about 6 feet of ducting to the exhaust vent. My filter is a profilter 45s. this website recommends a 172cfm inline. is a 172 inline better than 180 squirrel cage? the legnth of ducting is kinda long I guess but i really dont have much choice. here is a pic. What do you think I should do? if i upgrade fan what size should i go to?

I would say you need a bigger fan. The room is about 422cf ([90/12]*[75/12]*9) and some people recommend circulating the air 3-5 times a minute. If you want a squirell cage fan I would go with something like this: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&safe=off&biw=1366&bih=543&q=squirrel+cage+fan&bav=on.1,or.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=18105853780033447547&sa=X&ei=c1lsTezHCIH3gAfO-fH0Aw&sqi=2&ved=0CHMQ8wIwAQ#

But your CF limits a lot of what you could use. I would upgrade both the filter and fan IMO http://www.amazon.com/Hydropronic-Inline-Carbon-Filter-Control/dp/B002ZJNW3Q. If not use the largest fan you can get and put some ONA gel in there.
And yes shortening the ducting and removing unnecessary bends would help too. Think of the air you circulate as water, as it goes around bends it creates small eddies and can take away from efficiency.

Check out the link I gave you, the fan and CF combo are cheaper than the fan link you gave me. a 440cfm fan will destroy the filter you have (not literally, I think, but metaphorically) you want your filter to have about 10-20% more capability than the fan.
