Ronson shatter?

Just made some shatter with Ronson butane and wondering peoples opinions on using this cheap butane... Is it safe to smoke if purged correctly? Always have used Vector and Calibri but wanted to give this a try. I can not find a number to contact Ronson with some of my questions... Anyone ever use this? It is golden transparent and shatter... use alcohol to purge the butane and then slow heat purge after that to purge the alcohol.

Not terrible just expensive compared to some and it smells bad (the butane)

all the butane should be gone regardless but the extra shit in the can could still be lingering.

You can do the mirror test and spray some tane on a mirror, and see what type of residue it leaves and how much. I've done this with many brands and find that Lucienne, Power, or Colibri to be some of the cleanest butane brands compared to brands such as Zippo, Vector, GasOne, Ronson, Blazer, and Newport.

So no health side effects from using this brand?? Concerned with my health more then anything and don't want any extra junk in the shatter... Anyone find a contact website or number for Ronson? Weird that I can't just google it and find the number or on the can...

it's not the butane that smells, it's the shit they added to it so you can smell it.
Ronson without the mercaptans would be more ideal than vector if you look at the msds.

why would you want to ruin perfectly good bho with cheap butane? that has to be one of the worse kinds too. im sure that therre are some health risks being that it doews leave a lot of nasty behind. and it makes it taste and smell like ass homey. if your gonna do it go with the goods and savew yourself a nasty hacking cough.

im smoking it right now and it taste and smells just like the product i put in (which is good product).... it taste just as if i had used vector and feels the same too. absolutely no harshness at all. completely clean tasting, completely shatter, no sizzles or crackles which i think is insane... ive been making shatter a long time and never thought to use anything that isnt at least 5 times filtered until today.... im also about to run some vector just to have a side by side comparison as i am in complete disbelief lol

I taste nothing foreign, i dont plan on using it forever... just this once.... i just wanna know if anyone knows if its harmful to smoke this 2 gs or shatter ronson bho while i purge my vector bho run lol. im not trying to piss anyone off.. im just telling you what i see and taste in front of me and i wanna no if its ok.

I agree.^ i used it for my first few runs i ever did back in the day and it worked fine. tasted fine. yielded well. no bad feeling in my throat.

If you smoke cigarettes youre probably taking in alot more nasty shit off one than you are off a few grams of ronson made oil.

you obviously havnt been around here long enough. youre preaching to the choir dude... you need to do more reading or searching around here if you havnt seen my ronson posts yet.

ive been tight with hmk for the last 7 years... i have 4 hmk pipes 5 hmk curves... none of which ive had to purchase... ive been using his method for the past 7 years making shatter and absolute shatter. i have read on this site about all the ronson post and how ppl are saying there is propane in vector then someone goes on to say the ronson is the purest because it only uses isobutane. Then someone says that that is methyl-propane blah blah blah... i dont have time in my day to sit through and read 100's of post on this site and others about this one experiment... i just wanted to know if it was safe to smoke once and was hoping someone could just save me the time... since they had probably already read or done this experiment themselves because thats what fourms are for, to help each other out .. but if we all did what ppl say to do on this site and every other site.... i dont even wanna no what kind of oil people would be making or what the grows would look like lol... thatd be like believing everything you hear day to day without doing your own research.... i just took a .2 hit and the taste was awesome and still no harshness.. no headaches.. nothing abnormal... still waiting on the vector to finish... like i said im sticking with what works for me, which is vector and hmk method... i just wanted to do my own research, my own test. but im not worried about it anymore im never running ronson again lol my only question was " if there is no harshness, i can only taste my product and nothing foreign is it safe to smoke one time.

Hmk was a fierce opponent of absolute.
In the debate with me he claimed that cleaning with ethanol dramatically reduces the quality of the primary bho.
I'm very happy if his point of view has changed.

some folks are happy with grocery store coffee, some dig starbucks.

Cause it was an experiment... with as many times as I have made it with other brands I wanted to give it a try and without being able to contact Ronson I decided to take to the web for peoples opinions. Like I said before if we just believed everything on the web blindly without trying it for ourselves then how would we know what was true and not... Just saying. Thank you everyone for their info... and just cause I use HMK's method doesn't mean I haven't done my research on absolute.... and again if we all just did what everyone told us to do where would we be??

Alot of the Ronson butane in the United States is shit. Talk to vacpurge tho because he is I believe in a location where he purchased a better version of Ronson that I believe worked out fine for him but don't ask me. All I've used is Vector, Power 5x, and Colibri.

huh? when did I do that? I know for a fact that canadian ronson oil is ok to smoke, this isnt my first rodeo haha.

I smoked severly underpurged ronson BHO on purpose to test it... it was fine. tasted like plain ol underpurged BHO. no scents or extra bullshit. like mentioned, I used red cap ronson.

I got a little trick up my sleeve that should squash the red cap ronson questions throughout the whole internet.
