The other candidates couldnt do it.
They are too stupid to properly answer that myriad of question, they would have to have all their advisors in that same room to tell them what to say.

They just cant compete with Dr.Pauls experience/knowlege/Wisdom.

And he did sarcastically question "Does fort knox even have any gold left?" ....Way to take shit out of context.
