Ron Paul is taking back the GOP for Americans

You guys need to work on your Fox News/Rush Limbaugh problem. Here's what you do.

Inform the Fox News crowd, who will vote for the candidate Fox News tells them to, that all RP supporters are going to vote for Obama if RP is not the GOP nominee. Make them choose. It's either Paul or Obama again. You need to do something about that problem. Grab it by the nuts and hold the rest of the GOP hostage.

I really hope he does take it back. He's the only sane candidate in the field. But he has a MAJOR problem within the party that is controlled by a few.

Fox News - Hates Ron Paul
Rush Limbaugh - Hates Ron Paul
Karl Rove - Hates Ron Paul

That's a pretty steep hill to climb if you want the GOP nomination. I think RP would do well against Obama and could win. He and his supporters simply have a great deal of work to do before that is even an option for the rest of the Country to consider. You guys need not attack the President. You need to work on beating your Republican colleagues.

The amazing thing is that even though he gets no where near the positive coverage of the other candidates, Ron paul lost 1st place at the Iowa straw poll by less than 1% to a candidate that was born in Iowa, that is the result of standing apart from everyone else.

The Straw poll is a fundraiser. Ron Paul spent the most money for the best booth at the little side show. It was a bidding war and RP bid the highest amount for that specific booth. RP also handed out a few thousand $30 ballots for free to people to use in the poll. You would be gravely mistaken to put any weight behind that bought and paid for 'poll' that is nothing but a fund raiser. Just a word of caution.

What the results show is the people who handed out the most $30 ballots for free did the best in the poll. Go fucking figure huh?

It was also one of the most successful fundraisers ron paul has had.

The one thing that I see over and over again in the media is that Ron Paul is not electable. WTF does that mean? How do you determine that someone is unelectable? This is nothing more than a tactic being used to dismiss him and his supporters, same as when you read claims about the Tea Party being full of radical conservative racists. It makes no sense other than an agenda is being pushed. This is our chance to show the media conglomerates that they do not control our votes.

AMES, Iowa — It appears that while Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann beat Texas Rep. Ron Paul by 152 votes in the Iowa Straw Poll on Saturday, she gave away far more admission tickets than he did.

Paul’s campaign gave out 4,750 tickets to straw poll voters, his campaign chairman, Jesse Benton, told The Daily Caller.

Alice Stewart, a spokeswoman for Bachmann, wouldn’t disclose the number of tickets her campaign distributed. But Ben Smith of Politico reported that Bachmann’s campaign gave away 6,000 tickets.

That would mean Paul gave out about 1,250 fewer tickets than Bachmann. She won the poll with 4,823 votes, followed by Paul at 4,671. (BACHMANNIA: Michele Bachmann edges out Ron Paul for victory in Iowa Straw Poll)

Candidates traditionally give away $30 tickets to supporters they hope will vote for them in the straw poll.

Pretty sure the money went to the Iowa Republicans. I think the Straw Poll actually costs the candidates money. RP spent at least 90k on ballots to hand out and another 31k for the both. Not to mention what he paid to transport supporters and feed them.

Ok, he actually spent $142,500.00 on ballots to hand out.

And the 180,000 Bachman spent on 6000 ballots is less than the 142,500 ron paul spent

also notice that bachman wasted about 1500 of those ballots and ron paul only wasted a couple hundred.

All Ron Paul ever talks about is the federal reserve. every other word is "federal" and then "reserve"

But I will support ANY one of the GOP candidates over Obama, whomever it may be
BECAUSE WHEN EMOTION SUPERCEEDS COMMON SENSE, YOU GET SOCIALISM

Back to the unelectable argument? His ideas on the changes our country needs are more republican than any other candidate.
