RollItUp Kinda Stole They're Logo From...

I don't know if anyone has started this topic or seen the resemblance. Maybe I'm just high, possibly a coincidence? But it looks like RollItUp definitely had some inspiration from WorldIndustries on the creating of they're logo... no?

Comparisn of originals -

Now, a closer look after a little 'altering' to give better comparisons -

If this were Waynes World, we might hear the words; 'Coincidence? I think not!' Lol just something to ponder about, I'm sure it was an original idea/design, just saying.

I knew it looked familiar, if it was the Black Label Elephant i would have caught it! LoL good eye.
Lol... yeah, just found it interesting, no particular reason, like I said, 'just saying' you know? I always wondered why it looked so damned familiar to me, but it had been so long since I skated.

Oh I don't know by any means. Your looking way to far into this one Pony, lol. I wasn't even making a big deal about it buddy, just saying they are very similar. For all I know, they know nothing of WorldIndustries lol, for all I know, they did steal it? How would I know? It's more of a figure of speech people use when comparing things very similar, I'm sure you have heard of that Pony, right? Lol... I mean, usually people say, 'Dang it looks like Nike stole there idea for this commercial from... [insert idea here]' doesn't mean Nike really stole it, they could be paying royalties also, but you also don't know if they didn't steal it, so the point is mute now isn't it?

As for my avatar, unlike RollItUp [again, don't know if they stole the idea or not] I am not making profit from my avatar, RollItUp.Org is making profit from they're website. The laws differ dramatically from an avatar being used [you can argue the fair-use act] if you were taken to court [which you wouldn't be because it is non-profit, it's an avatar]. Fair-use becomes available when you want to use something for non-profit purposes like an avatar, Rollitup is making money from this website, BIG DIFFERENCE.

Again, just saying... no need for evidence, I clear my case. Don't know what you were trying to accomplish, but nice... umm... job? You sounded like the owner of RIU for a second, haha. Smoke another bowl dude!

As long as you change the color or modify something in anyway then its legal. Notice the color is different. The arms are as well. I think rollitup is smart enough not to break a law like that.

I know... just educating you on law, lol... because I know how you can be. Your posts don't & never should offend me or any other user. Unless they are a brand new user, they might think your a dick for a second, but then realize 'aww, this fucker always fucks with people...' lol. Besides, they altered the pic anyways, never said they'd get sued or anything, as stated already 'inspiration' is what I said came from it, nothing more nothing less. Even the minor altering may not hold up in court though, I've seen some fucking logos get completely altered & still sued, usually major corps like Mc. Donalds & shit are the one's who bitch, I doubt WorldIndustries would care. But they are a top skate brand.

Hey, look who's back Cyproz... wish I could see those posts. Anyways I'll light one up right back for ya Pony! I don't know if I want to fuck with someone though... okay, maybe I do! Haha.

pretty standard character animation techniques.
Definitely... I mean, there are plenty of logos with little circular dudes, that have white gloves, little round feet, 3 sprouts coming from they're head [middle one being the longest] & a basic smiley face with no extra add-on to the facials [simple dot eyes for example] I can completely agree. Lmao... it's all good people, it's a comparison, not a conspiracy theory! An yeah, that was sarcasm, I'm just messing with you... haha.

"profit"? :?
It means that the website is generating something from being here. Are you asking what profit means here? Lol. Or are you asking how they make profit? One example, advertisements is probably the #1 profit generator on this site, amongst others. No website of this caliber can stay afloat without profit... they're paying a grip of doe to stay online, the servers, the domain, the space, it isn't all free & they're certainly not paying for it through they're pockets without generating income.

i was wondering the same thing. I guess its the like 100 people who pay for premium account lol. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE profit.
we haven't taken money for premium accounts in almost 2 years.

this site uses quite a bit of memory. somewhere it all has to be stored. that's not free. this site costs money to operate. ;)

Oh & a side note FDD in case you were asking what profits they make...

Rollitup.org is worth $174,956 USD and had a World rank of #13,916 since our last update. Rollitup.org has a Google PR of 5 and is listed in DMoz. Rollitup IP Adress is 207.126.162.246 and its server is located in United States. Here's on this page many information about the domain name Rollitup.org - Rollitup.

tell me they're not making profit? You would have to be in the business of websites & shit to understand how much these sites make from advertising alone. I'm sure 80% of the profit is advertisements like most sites ran like RIU. You don't just get to the level of $174,000+ by not making money. This site is worth a lot for a reason, THEY MAKE A LOT! How many of us can say we have an investment worth over $100,000 right now?
