Im a former pro. Toured every shit hole dive bar in Ontario in the '80's. Sorry not posting stuff here that will ID me but later in the '90's my band had cd's played on the radio and music vids on tv. I was lead singer/guitarist. Not sayin we were famous but made a living. If eating hotdogs and kraft dinner is a living. In those days the bars had strippers during the days and bands at night. Every town had at least one bar like that and you could tour round full time if you were good. Had a ton of fun. Still got all my gear but just jam a bit nowadays.

I wonder if there are any future Bob Marleys or "Snoop Lions" posting on here.. i like to think so!

I'm just starting out as a musician. I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now. Honestly I don't ever see it going anywhere, but damnit, I do have fun playing though! lol

Is this a thread that's going to get me off my ass to finish some songs?

Digging the Bad Cat shtuff.
And SRH88 had me tappin' my toes.

Now that our heatwave is cooling out, I can turn off the portable A/C unit that sits next to me at my music station and lay down the vocals on some songs and get to moving forward.

Now I dont know what every one is into, and maybe rap/ hip-hop is not a favorite but this is what I've done over the past few years. I'd really love to actually learn how to READ music so I can really write and transpose those to the keyboard. I'm mainly a drummer and just really love to make my own beats to listen to because that Gucci and Waka
