Roleadro LED panel 400w

Should I buy this? Does anyone know if this is a good product?

It says the actual draw is about 200w. For my application this should be perfect but I wanted to see if this was a good quality product or not.

do not buy, they show a spectrum for cree 3070, but the unit DOES NOT have cree 3070s

It is saying a similar spectrum to the Cree 3070 ....

Would a 200w CFL top this?????

you want to buy from someone that can't publish their own SPD , and instead use deceptive marketing ?

I wouldn't use cfl either.

No. My biggest concern if its Chinese made...which I think it is....

The Chinese sellers are evolving.
Quality COBs are starting to gain traction for growers so now they try to pretend that their limited spectrum is "better"
lol

Wish they'd just sell those empty cases with heatsink and hangers for an easy aesthetic Cree casing.

They say that, but I can't imagine what that's based on other than "has spikes in the red and blue parts of the spectrum, and so do the Cree cobs" perhaps

Even looking at the photos, you can see that this is nowhere near the 3070 spectrum, nor is it "full spectrum" as they say in the marketing text. They try to pass it off by saying "improvements were made" in the spectrum, but that's highly debatable.

I have two of their other LED units (GalaxyHydro is the same company), and they are woefully underpowered even compared to other similar units by other companies.

You could grow some flowers with them, I'm sure, but you won't be getting anything like what you'd get with 4x Cree 3070 driven at the same wattage.

Understood. Thinking about going 250w HPS. I like LED but to get a good US made panel with cost $$$$

I don't know about that particular unit, but I have a cheap 400W digital that blows away the cheap chinese LED fixtures. Hell, even my 150HPS blows away cheap LED units. If you want to go with LED, cheap isn't the way to go unless you DIY.

I'm curious about that one, with the ballast integrated in the hood. That wouldn't be my first choice for a 400W, to be honest. If I wanted super cheap MH/HPS, I'd go with something like this and buy a hood to go with it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003810CVA

Ah. I have a Sun System 150HPS that I've used for years for small spaces, and it does pretty decent. I bet the 250 would work fine for ya.

I was eyeballing the Sun System 150w unit. For my current application I need a minimum of 200w-250w. I cant not exceed 250w for my small tent. The 400w could be turned down, but only by 30% so that would be still a little too high but great idea. great price. That's funny how LED wholesalers sell HPS that doesn't make sense haha
