Rockwool in soil

If i root all cuttings in rock wool, can they then be put directley into a soil medium? It just seems convienent the way most people use rockwool for clones, but i noticed all the ones i read about were in a hydro set up. any info would be appreciated. also, first thread! ;-)

yes why not? its waht i did i got cutting, supposedlty rooted but they wanst i put em in pots and they nearly died but there doing great now roots every where, in 6-7 days from chop!!!! check grow journal

That is what I do. It is great because you can see the roots poking through the rockwool. At that point, I just plant the whole thing in soil.

Hey, thanks a lot for the advice. I dont have anything going right now, just a small sweet tooth from bc and a small lisquati haze from bc, very good strains, got too many males from the sweet tooth tho. about to start a white widow and bubblicious from nirvana, will keep you guys posted. once again, thank you!
