Rockwool feeding for pre-germinated seeds. HELP!!!

Hey guys,

I am about to germinate some Big Buddah Cheese Fem, and Jack Herer Fem, and I am in need of help with the rockwool feeding.

Is it best to just not use any nutes at this stage, and only use pH 5.5 water? or Is it best to use a 1/2 strength nute soak before planting the pre-germinated seeds in the rockwool? I am planning on a coco grow, so I was originally thinking to use 1 ml of each canna coco A B, and 2 ml of rhizotonic for a rockwool soak. However, I was afraid that even this weak strength feed could kill the small seeds. Any advice would be AWESOME!

no nutes, plain ph'd water to condition the rockwool until the ph stabilizes, them drop your seeds in germed or not, the seed has enough nutes to survive for a while on its own, and no nutes in the rockwool will keep it from getting covered in algae

Hi
1: Make sure to soak the rockwool in 5.5 ph water for 24 hours before planting the seed. They are very high ph if you don't flush them like that.
2: I use plain 5.5 water until the first set of leaves fold out. Then i start using 1/3 reccommended strength for a week - then 1/2 for a week - then full strength - in the low end.
3: Remember to let the rockwool cubes become a little bit dry between feedings.

Just a couple of quick advices on that ;O)

24 hrs is a good practice, i just ph my water to 5.3 and let them soak until it stays the same, generally takes about 4 hrs. either way works.
