Cheers fellow growers :)
My current Masterbubba grow just wrapped up. Here are some pics of it:

So, on to the next adventure!
I'll be growing clones of Rocklock. The clones were obtained from a reliable source in OC. The condition of the clones is so, so, but they should straighten out in a view days. This will be a additive 'free' grow, just A/B, call mag (RO), and a PK product.
Usually I also run Roots Accelerator, along with some additional flowering additives.

Currently the clones are under a 600w mh digilux. The grow space is being vented full time as long as they are adjusting to their new home. In another weeks I will stop venting, turn the ac, dehumidifier and co2 on and turn this into a cge environment.

I will scrog this heavy indica dominant strain, but the screen is currently off.

Here are some pics:

So, as you might guess I am not happy about the conditions of the clones, seems to be systemic at the dispensary I get them from. I had a conversation with him about it. It makes all sense now that he told me that he is only feeding them ro water. On the bright side the genetics I have gotten from them have held true so far, and that is also worth something.
I’ll just have to let them come around. For now they are getting a light feed of A/B with some cal/mag since I am using ro and some silicon (mainly as ph up).

It has been 3 days since I added the clones. They are growing slowly, but I think we will look at another week before they come out of the deficiencies.

Looked it up, it's DNA Genetics. And apparently it's their new pride and joy. I'm sub'd dude. Look forward to the updates.

Personally, I love the seedling and early veg stage the most, so exciting! Then I am bored except for 2 weeks when training them in veg, and then the last 2 weeks of flower. Rest of the time it is boring, so I keep buying seeds to keep me entertained. I need a breeding room dammit! If I could just start breeding I would probably take off with that until I can build a name enough to vend. I love the science behind growing, which is why I am getting so deep into organics lately, and breeding is right up that science alley. Gregor Mendel, yo.

Dude, have you looked up Dry Ice hash? Look up Dry Ice hash! you will shit your fucking britches it is so fucking easy!!!! Did I already tell you that? I'm just so damn excited about it.

When are we going to smoke a bowl dude? I got my medical recommendation, all I need to do is see yours and I'm down as hell to trade some cuts and nugs. I also make my own organic tea that is pretty awesome too. It has roughly equal parks N and K, but has lots of P in it for rooting and blooming. I always have an abundance, and don't mind giving it away at all. If I knew enough people wanted it, I would just make trashcans full at a time. Making your own tea is so cheap and fun! Science, yo.

So I made some adjustments yesterday. I went 'sealed', meaning there is no more ventilation from here on. With that decision came the obvious next one, I started to add co2 at a low rate, about 800ppm, along with the air filtration.
They are getting 3ml/g a/b and 5ml/g cal mag (RO) along with 3ml Silica (ph up/plant cell health). This mix leaves me with no further ph up adjustments, piss yellow on the strips ha. It also shows though how low the ph is going to be ones I start to bring the nutes up to like 7-10ml. Granted, I use about 5ml silica, but it is far from sufficient as it relates to bringing ph back to about 6.0. I attribute this mainly to HG Aqua Flakes being made for tab water (hard water). My local water is just off the charts with their mineral content. HG says to just filter the chlorine, the minerals can remain. I should try it, would save me a lot of money & time. Maybe next time.....
The plants are starting to stretch out of their clone state, I feel their color should be a tad darker, but I am not using Roots Accelerator this run, so a little slower development was expected. What I am trying to do here is, determine if HG A/B base nutes are sufficient for a healthy grow, meaning plants that appear healthy throughout their life-cycle. The Cal-mag is a must due to the RO, the Silica is mainly used for ph up in this grow. I have not decided yet if I will use a finisher, I guess it will depend on how they fill out.

I'm re-thinking my Base nute experiment lol. It is still early on, but it seems that with the Roots Accelerator the plants pic up faster. Could be wrong though, they were a bit banged up when I got them.

Usually I would see roots coming out the bottom of my pot at about 1 week in from clone, not this time :(

There are a couple of other things that theoretically could be hindering their early growth. For one, I re-used my hydroton. Mind you, I washed it very well. Second, I added a pvc trap to my return line and did not flush it afterward. That one has me a bit worried lol, that's why the res change today.

I will pick up roots Accelerator today when I'm at the store, I need another fogger anyhow. If I do not see improvements in the next day or so I will learn from early experiences and add roots accelerator to my resi.

Not to be too hard on their progress though, they do look like they did quite a bit of growing for their first week.

Cheers :)
Did my res change yesterday:
5.5 ml/g a/b
.4ml/g Drip Clean
1.1ml/g Roots Accelerator
5ml/g Cal-mag
3ml/g Silica
Res temp: 68f
Feeding intervals: 60sec every 3hours

Canopy temps: 78f
Humidity: 50-60%
Light cycle: 18/6
Co2: 800ppm

I also topped them to promote lateral branching in order to get them ready for the scrog.

I have no evidence of any pests, but I will fog (Pyrethrum)the girls one time before they go into flower.

For those that care about this stage of growth:

I could have sworn to god I put a huge post up here last night about your feeding problems, but looks like you got it all worked out anyways, Either way, I could sworn I posted at least 2 paragraphs. It's either RIU or all this dank weed, man.

Lol, dud I have been so stupid lately ha, I actually want to downgrade my weed a notch or two lol. Did the dry ice hash thing earlier, super easy, have yet to smoke some of the kief. No worries regarding the feeding, they were doing fine, it’s just that I'm used to seeing faster growth with roots Accelerator in the mix. No need to continue on without it, it is rather obvious to me. I'll be out at the monument in Joshua next weekend for the meteor shower, I love the place!
