[Update Day 53 - Flower]
Nothing much to report, last week has been good. Keeping the ph at 5.8 still, ppm's in the 1100-1200 range now. Buds generally seem to be swelling up, slowly but surely.

New white pistils are just about everywhere, tric's are still clear, I think I got a couple weeks left till I start the final 2 week flush with Sweet. They are starting to get more stinky, I may get a carbon scrubber in these final weeks.

Check the pic's, lemme know whats up!

[Update Day 10 - Clones]
The Blackberry Kush is comming along nicely! I can't belive how crazy bushy they are, all 6x clones have been topped and recovered fine. I'm gonna try for 6 Main shoots on each giveing me 36 Good sized colas in a 2 month harvest window. I may not even have to supercrop em because they are already bushy as hell, I'll end up with ton's of cuttings though. So essentially I could get back the money I spent on the clones with more clones :)

Roots are crazy long! The clone in the picture is my smallest root development, and she's pretty good. I wanted to take a pic of my bigger roots on the others (some like 12-14 inches long), but the camera died on that last shot. Gotta get some batteries, eitherway I wanna let the roots get alittle more cloneing time in before I switch to 18/6 and pump the nutes. Maybe another 4 days or so, then I'll start vegging em. Should have about 3.5 weeks left till harvest, so 3 weeks of veg should be perfect timeing as far as size goes.

Looking great they seem to be looking better than a week ago. I found out some that might help with your cloning. Use the clonex 15ml per gallon. Leave in there no more then 3 weeks. I had a clone that I kinda forgot about in the cloner and now it is just slowed cause it need nutes. I move all my clones once the roots are 6 lnches long. Other than that looking good.

Thanks!

They have been in my cloner for 12 days now, the most I would ever do is 21 days. But they have no signs of nutrient deficiency, and are growing incredibly fast. I'll let em go till friday and see how they look. Honestly if they look nice and green with no deficiencys, I'd like to let em go another week in there. Then turn em 18/6 with a low ppm of veg nutrients.

The bigger the roots, the more nutes they will absorb once they begin feeding.

But ur right, don't wanna starve em too long. 3 Weeks is a good limit in the cloner, at least Stinkbud recommends it.

looking good. :bigjoint:.just checking in thanks for the tips with my ssh. gonna try lst'ing new plant, whats best way?
I dunno if there is a "best" method. I personally love topping, it's a must for indoor growers. Try and get 6 Main stems per plant. I also supercrop plants that tend to stretch more than the others, keeps the canopy height about level. And the supercropped plants just bush the hell out, it's crazy.

My attempt at scrogging with this SSH was pretty pathetic, I put the screen in too late. Won't make that mistake with the BBK, I'm gonna rock this next grow, expect to double my yeild for sure.

[Update Day 63]
SSH is at 10.5 weeks now. I'm pretty sure the mother came from Greenhouse Seed Co, which suggests 10-11 weeks. But I asked around from other growers and found some went all the way to 15 weeks with SSH. So it really just depends how the tric's look.

Tric's are currently approximately 10% Amber / 80% Cloudy / 10% Clear (That 12$ scope from radio shack rocks!) So I'm thinking another 1-1.5 weeks and she will be 50/50 Amber/cloudy at which I will then start my flush. Prolly just flush for 1 week, hydro doesn't need 2 weeks.

PH still 5.8, ppm's just over 1,000 (res changes once a week now). The nugs are straight rocks! Really hard, and getting denser day by day. I still see new white pistols on most the buds, so she is getting fatter.

[Update Day 6 Vegetation]
The Blackberry Kush are blowing my mind right now, The roots are a good 3 feet long already!!! They are growing so fast, and bushy as hell. I topped em all once, and that's prolly all it's gonna take. This plant bushes itself automatically, no need for topping/fiming/supercropping. Amazing genetics on these girls, and they are stinky. This strain is gonna rock the SCRoG no doubt.

Unlike the SSH, I will definatly need odor control once these go into flower. They are super healthy and loving life thanks to Stinkbud and his Aeroponic Veg Unit.

I ditched the old 2x T-8 Fixture and upgraded to a much better 2 foot 4 Tube T-5 Fixture with blue spectrum bulbs. I have a feeling the BBK is gonna explode under this thing, Hopefully the SSH finishes in a few weeks cause this BBK might outgrow my veg cabinet

Check the pics, leave comments, what-ev's! ...TGIF

Ok, been like a week since my last post. My estimates were right, the SSH is looking pretty much done. Parts of the plants are 90%-100% Amber, but most are 50/50. She turned really rapidly in this last week. As I wan't to keep her an active daytime smoke, I wanna flush now before the whole thing turns 100% amber.

I'm going to try a new Flushing method thanks to Stinkbud, kinda radical but I can't argue with his results. I'll start the flush today/tommarow. His new method only takes about 2-3 days, so I should be chopping down this Tuesday. That would give me a total of 74 Days in flower, not as bad as I thought :blsmoke:

Gonna build my Bud Dryer this weekend, hopefully have em trimmed and jared real soon here.

I'm not going to toss the BBK into flower right away either, I have a few... "Modifications" I wanna install before they go in. Prolly spend a week or so upgrading the flowering box and giving the BBK another week to veg will just = more bud.

Prepetual Harvest's here I come!bongsmilie

Cool, we harvest round the same time then.

I don't wanna take any samples till I'm done flushing. I took a small sample last night, tasted pretty good for not being flushed. But it crackled/poped in my bowl from the nutes. Defiantly got me high too, damn I ate so much, talk about munchies from hell.

When I chop on Tues. I'll post picks and stuff, and will definatly smoke a kief blunt from the trim off the scissors :)

I wanna cure for at least 2 weeks before taking another sample. Ideally 1 month in the jar would be nice.

Tried to get a pic through the microscope, pretty difficult, but you can make out the amber tric's through my blurry pic. She is totally ready, T-minus 4 days and counting :eyesmoke:

Hey looks good. I just got done with my first rack. I happened to have 3 plants that were grown from bag seed. They happen to finish before everything else and also went hermie on me. This lead to my stavia getting seeded. They were slow growing looked like crap. So I tossed those in to the crock pot made 4 pounds of the best butter. I'm at 11 ounces curing in jars now, Some of the one hit quit shit, which I didn't think would happen. Whats your meathod for harvesting? Curing time? Look great those girls look done to me.

Stinkbud's new Harvesting method for Aeroponics. 3.5 Days Total Time.

1. Drain the res of all water/nutes.
2. Fill with tap water, run the pump constantly for 1 hour to get rid of nutes, then drain again.
3. Refill with RO water & 150ml of Clearex, run pump back on 1/5 for 24 hours (5.8 ph).
4. Drain Res once again. Now fill the res with 450ml of Sweet and RO water (5.8 ph).
5. Now leave your pump off about 12 hours. Your plants should be wilting enough now.
6. Turn the pump back on 1/5 interval for 24-48 hrs. Plants should turn light green/yellow.
7. Harvest time, chop em and hang em to dry.

Turn's out he made the mistake of leaving his pump off for 12 hours a day or two before his harvest, this in turn caused the roots to dry up and forced the plant to use all it's available water.

Then you turn the pump back on for 24-48 hours running just RO water with 450ml of Sweet and of course 5.8 ph. The dry plants are starving for water so they guzzle the Sweet and end up tasting like ur smokeing a jolly rancher

He claims it's the best tasting bud he's ever had with this method. So with that I'm willing to give it a try.

As far as drying and curing I'll just hang em in a carboard box with a couple cpu fans on intake/out. Then Jar em up and burp em for 2-4 weeks.

Your plants are looking nice. Made that screen look great by the end of things. That's how a screen should look if you ask me.

It's going to be fire.

Thanks for the harvest info... I'm going to try something like that for my next harvest in my DWC... it should work out pretty much the same, maybe not as good as aero.

Thanks Jig, ur buds look pretty damn tastey as well :weed:

Will definitely have a smoke report in a few weeks. I'm alittle sceptical about using the Sweet during the flush since it's a generic taste that get's added to all your strains. Might take away from the "true" smoke flavor of the plant.

Here's to perpetual harvests bongsmilie

[Finished]
Ok everyone, it's done! I have finished drying all my buds and am now in the curing process. I burp for 5 minutes a day, but it's been super dry/hot lately so maybe alittle less, don't wanna completly dry em out.

My final dry weight was an astounding: 217.6 Grams! Not bad for only 5 plants, one of which never got over 8 inches tall. Alittle over a half-pound for my first grow, needless to say I am STOKED! Mind you this was without any Co2 or Air Conditioning, just pure Aeroponics, organic nutrients, and patience

Not sure how much trim I had total, but I used all the stems to make a "Herbal Tea" we are calling it "Freedom Tea" and will be serving it for the 4th of July!

Used the other trim to make over 2 lbs of Pot Butter! Man this stuff is dark green and danky, very potent. Will make some super space brownies in alittle bit.

I have been smoking some samples and I have to say, hand's down, dopest dope I ever smoked. Flavor, High, Energy, it's all there and especially potency, man this is stoney as hell. Thanks to everyone who helped, hope I can inspire other first time growers to give it a shot.

Everyone of my friends who has sampled has agreed with me, this shit is dank. Can't wait to sample some of the pot butter in some cookies and stuff. The flavor get's sweeter and sweeter each day, the aroma of the jars is out of this world... I wanna live in em.

On a side note this thread is pretty much done, I'll have a detailed smoke report in a few weeks when it's been cured for awhile. Till then I'm working on a few modifications to the closet and dealing with... dum dum dumm! SPIDER MITES! Yes, thats right, they are covering my Black Berry Kush at the moment. No need to worry, I got AzaMax to nuke the basterds and will continue the nukeing for 2 weeks till all are dead. Then I'll be done with my mod's and the BBK will go into flower. I think the bugs came from the dispensary clones >:(

Also adding Hygrozyme to my res changes as well, temps in the res are high 70's, better safe than sorry. Either this or a water chiller (too expensive).

Till next time, keep smokin! bongsmilie

Excellent work man. I'm so happy for you. That is a lot of pot you got there.

Isn't it just the absolute best reward in the world to have the harvest you slaved and worried over for months not only works out, but also delivers the BEST high you've ever had.

I mean it would feel good to smoke your own stuff no matter what, but for it to be amazing... well that is just priceless. (insert mastercard logo)

If you ever want to trade for some indica I know someone who has some bomb hindu skunk smoke.

Words can't describe how good it feels to smoke some homegrown, but to have it literally be better than anything youve ever smoked before is top notch. I accredit the Stinkbud system to this, his 15+ years of growing went into my first buds and they are good.

Hindu Skunk eh, sounds pretty stinky! I wouldn't mind trading for a sleepy smoke, this SSH gives me insomnia.

Hit me up if ur ever in SD :leaf:

BTW, the Pot Tea was a hit. Everyone loved it, will be making more next harvest. Use Green Tea and Organic Honey for flavor, delicious.

My brownies were a 4th of july hit also.

How long did you cook the tea? And did you use the frosty trim, or just the other stuff?

Slow boiled the tea for like 3 hours, it was mostly stems but also had some frosty trim/fat nuggies floating around in it. Was good, and gave an immediate buzz
