Anyone have advice on getting rid of roatches?? I have tried Raid and fumigator sprays and baits. Are their natural preadotors? will a praying mantis or ladybugs or anything eat them?

Local bug guy around here charges $40 every 3 months and does an AWESOME job. Roaches are all over the place here in Florida. They even fly, but call them palmetto bugs. :shivers: so gross.

...and take them with you? Lol....I exaggerated a bit on the never. But they are really tough to get rid of. And you WILL take them with you if you move. We moved twice and took em with us.

Boric acid is good. It's like a powder you can put it down wherever you think there's high traffic or where you especially don't want them to go.

those things are realy nothing like german roaches palmettos only eat vegitaion and theres not gonna be a infestaion of 20,000 but roachs eat every thing they will eat the dead skin off your body and crap on you as they do it and if you see one theres 100 you dont see

I have found that the Roach baits never work good but, the roach bait that is more paste like, it comes in a tube, you just put it in random spots around the kitchen, it works pretty good but, I did not have an infestation, I see one every once in awhile but that roach stuff work pretty good. here is the link

http://www.drillspot.com/products/314241/Dial_51960_21OZ_Combat_Roach_Gel?s=1

you can find it at places like home depot but not Lowes for some reason.

There is this chinese chalk that comes in an orange box that works for roaches and ants... It doesnt seem like this piece of chalk works but it does... You can draw a circle around an ant and they will be trapped...

keep everything clean, clean, clean and DRY, they can go a good while without food, but not water.... other than that, hit em up with the roach spray when you see them. The boric acid is a good one too, just not convienient for most.. .gotta cover the floor in it and sweep it up in the am. Good luck bro, those things are evil.

I moved into a apartment that had roaches when I first moved in. I tried the boric acid but still had problems. I am a VERY clean person, and keep my house very clean. I had to call a pro to come in and spray my whole apartment. Again I keep my apartment clean, I clean up any crumbs from cooking laying around, sweep the floor every week, and don't leave dirty dishes laying around. I haven't seen a single roach since..and the bug guy saw the boric acid laying around and said it will possibly do more harm to a human than a roach.
