How well do dogs work at keeping rippers out? I have a team of small dogs and a big dog to bring the teeth. Are rippers known to try and kill guard dogs, especially in a suburban area? I've never had any issues, but I want to keep it that way.

No loss here... I'm pretty vigilant about babysitting the crop..but the guys who have jobs and have to sleep n leave the house ..that really sucks..if I had to do that I'd get a friend to guard the garden when I was gone.

Why not take the higher ground, especially when it's some youngster? Toss him a sack of beans and teach a man to fish? I'm not saying you have to school the kid, but it gives him something productive to do and not something destructive. This would pretty much apply to guerilla grows only I suppose.
