He just bought that plane too.

It was in his Phillies contract that he wasn't allowed to fly when he was still playing. His wife didn't like the flying either.

I used to go up with a friend who had a license in my 20's. I have declined numerous offers since then. I like it on the ground these days.

My favorite player of all time died in a plane wreck 12/31/72. I still feel sick about it every new year's eve.

Yup sad news indeed. They kept showing a video,on my local news, of his crashed plane in the water...and it really looked like you could see his body floating amongst the wreckage...it was fucked up to say the least.
