RIP My Beautiful Piece Of Glass

Last night around 1145, I lost my one and only bowl to my tile floor. I have had many other pieces but none that compaired to she. She helped me through the death of a child and a divorce. Her beautiful design and ability to blend all of her colors and the deep deep crevice where I once filled her with equally beautiful substances will forever be with me. I'll miss you, my dear. I'm sorry that pocket didn't hold you. At least we got to say goodbye.

I feel your pain, my entire house is tile. I've already lost 3 pieces since I moved in.

Sorry for your loss.. I've lost two in the past year and the only upside i can think of is being able to scrape the resin you couldn't reach

thank you all for your well wishes, i cleaned her out not that long ago and so there wasn't much to scrape. i sold all of my other pieces because i had stopped smoking for a while but i held on to that one... c'est la vie. i'm still near the shop that i bought her and i'm hoping that they still get their glass from the guy who made that one... maybe she has a sister. i've been smoking for about 10 years and it's the first piece i've broken.

I broke the coolest bowl I'd ever had within 24 hours of getting it. Luckily I went back and got one that I still have now right after I broke it lol


I bought a bong about 2 weeks ago and broke the slide last weekend cuz I dropped it in the sink while cleaning it :/

all broke up. where do you go from here?

getting a new slide can be so hard, sometimes.. if glass pieces weren't so wonderful... i'd just switch to wood or metal. the lady at the shop i frequent said that when i got home with my new bong, i should outline the shape of the slide in case it ever broke because there are so many different shapes and sizes..

well, SLK, ,i guess i just have to try to find a piece i can learn to love just as much... i'm sure i'll find something. hopefully this weekend.

over the years i have broken about five pipes, four of which fell into cups and shattered... easy cleanup i suppose. the other fell on concrete.

I had a similar situation.

I had a bong i spent just over $200 for and i was cleaning it out with some formula 420 and i accidentally brought it down on the sink and blew the whole bottom out, it sucked way bad.

Some consider glass pipeage like glass teeth.

They are nearly guaranteed to break.

Unless kept unused in a protective enclosure, preferably glass so you can at least see them.

If you get OK with breaking your Ladies or Men when you buy them,

then it is less of a deal when paranormal activity presents you with the opportunity to swab some oil a little down the road.

Does anyone else use both sexes to name their pieces?

I too had a lose in the past couple of days. I kept my bong stem in the same place as my pipe, and when i went to grab my stem (which was brand new and never used) i saw it had been broken in half. Its not as sad as losing a piece you've had for ever, but at least you got to smoke out of it.

I know this is old but im sorry! i lost one due to my bf trying to surprise me with a bowl and it shattered in the freezer then my friend was passing my bubbler and dropped it
