Died a couple days ago...Golf legend, TV commercials, private pilot, owner of Pa's. biggest car dealership, local airport named after him, etc.
He did a lot to popularize golf in the '60's and '70's...And he was the inventor of the thumbs up.
And it's been said locally he could pleasure young girls by merely raising his magic thumb
She seems aroused.
And...they're still running his voice commercials at Arnold Palmer Motors daily...
He used to be followed by 'Arnie's Army' at tournaments...he was popular in the east, for sure.
RIP Arnie...and let me holler for you one last time,
