Wrong ! the seed is genetically programed to make a loop as soon as it emerges so if it's pointed down it spends days growing extra root material reorienting itself. The following illustration from Dr Alexander Sumach's book "Gro Yer Own Stone" shows the process.

go read some more than one guys opinion,mine are all killer,and mine didnt do the loop.

it will grow just fine if you put the seed in the soil any direction,do thenk mother nature sneaks around flipping the seeds in nature
