RH for smoking preference

What is the RH for bud smoking thats preferred? Curing using hydrometers keeps the RH cruising in the 60's. But when I wanna smoke it its a little wet so I'm trying2 come up with a plan after the cure to get it in smoking zone. I usually put a bit in another jar with cap off and smoke whenever. But the RH is not consistent. What are your preferences?

I have 4 different varieties which amounts to 2 full quart sized jars of each, a total of 8 jars that have been dried, then curing since September. One jar of each is longer term storage, so I have a Boveda pack in each of those jars. That leaves 1 jar each that I have removed the Boveda packs from to allow the material to dry more. I open those jars from 1 - 4 hours at a time until the 'smoking' stash is closer to the 'dryness' I prefer to smoke at. You should be able to reduce the RH in the jar easily down to 50 - 55%, where ever you determine your own preference for dryness to be.

ive always found leaving bud in wooden cigar boxes or brown paper bags for 3-4 days wicks out moisture very evenly, i just wait until the stems arent flimsy but snap after a bit of bending, then straight to jars for 2 weeks or more, airing them out and moving around the nugs twice a day for about an hour for the first two weeks. if its too dry for your taste a slightly damp paper towel on the lid of your jar will restore moisture, i wouldn't leave it for more than a day or so though. some say orange peels in your jar are good for this too.

62% Boveda packs after you have dried properly. Work like a champ, and hold moisture perfectly for smoking. The wife comments that J's burn perfectly.
I know this post is a few weeks old but, yea.. I love the 62% RH on those packs, is all I use. and it's perfect every time.:bigjoint:
