reverting to veg?

Say you ended up with one, small female. A couple days into flowering you notice this and it sucks. You don't want to spend more $ on more seeds, wait 4 more months, etc. You want a mother to clone.

How many days (or oomph) into the flowering cycle is it cool to switch back to veg?

Will the clones from a "reveg" be female always, or are there hermie issues to deal with (i heard that's what happens if you interrupt the flower cycle?

Thanks

ps. 3 days into 12/12 as of today.

You can reveg female plants right up to and even after harvest with no problems at all.

In your situation, just turn the lights back on to 18/6 and all will be fine. You may notice that the new growth is twisted and contorted, but she will grow out of that phase. And yes ... the cuttings will be female.

If you want to, you can flower her all the way out, then harvest all but a little of the green at the bottom, then reveg from there. I've done it plenty of times when I didn't take cuttings for one reason or another, liked the plant, harvested, then revegged. Hope this helps.

Yes! So I will flower her, get buds, leave a few on and reveg while I'm out of town, returning to take clones as needed. Perfect!

Thanks

You're welcome. When revegging, expect some really weird growth for the first three weeks of vegging. She will grow out of it though and will continue on as normal after that.

well what would be better to reveg or to clone to get sex because to get rid of some males and transplant and make alil room

What would be easier and better?

1 gallon pots
5-6 inches tall
3 nodes
very bushy

Strain unknown on these

Number your plants, then take the cuttings and number your cuttings to match the plant numbers. That way, when the flowering plants show sex, you can toss the male plants and the cuttings that came from them.

You can also reveg the females that you keep.

Also, you might consider increasing the size of your pots to two-gallon.

Hi, I have a question I am trying to figure out:

I am growing a few plants outdoor. I started them from seeds in March. Well they have been flowering for almost 60 days and I noticed about two weeks ago the buds were slowing their growth and the chutes and leaves were starting to grow more prominently. I've been keeping an eye on the trichromes and I've not found any amber, mostly cloudy with some clear.

Will these buds all die if I just let it go until it kicks back into flowering? Am I better off just harvesting these soon? Also, I'm not sure if it is a clear sign of buds dieing but more and more of the hairs are turning red/pink.

Thanks for the help,

instead of re-veging the whole plant, couldn't you just take many cuttings from it now? even if it destroys the plant.

take all the grow tips you can; clones to start your new garden with the same genetics.

save one clone as your future mother.

it will delay your harvest to grow the new clones out but it will be an even canopy.

Well, one problem with that I think is that I grew these two in fairly small pots and didn't mess with them. They basically grew straight up into one cola. So i think it would be very difficult to try and get a worthwhile cutting from.

how are they flowering outside if the days are getting longer? the days wont shorten until the end of july.

its probably vegging, of u have new leaves and growth shoots coming from the buds then let them grow and flower again naturally, it'll increase ur yeild.

nice. One last question then, the buds that are on there now, they will still be around/good when the days get shorter?

Thanks much guys,
