Revegging question

Hello all,
recently I harvested my first actual plant and it went really amazing. In a process of growing her I read in forums about re-veging. Apparently I read too little. What I did - I cut of the plant two tiny branches, one like 2 inches and another like 4" long. I cut their stem edge diagonally and put in soil. No rooting hormone, nothing, just soil and water. I did not expect anything from those two little branches, just to extent my understanding about this plant. So in 8-9 days one branch dried and looked like it is not going to continue on growing. Well I was not surprised. But that 2 inch branch looked alright, so I gently removed soil little by little until I saw that it released some roots into soil. I thought since it released roots I need to read more about revegging. But while reading I realized that whatever I was doing, definitelly not revegging :))) more like trying to take tiny clone from a plant which was harvested that day. Even if it is so tiny it has some pistils and covered with a bit of thc.

Ok so here comes the question, am I going anywhere with this little rooted thingy? Or it released some roots just so it could finish flowering? I keep it at 20/4 light cycle, spray some water over foliage since its roots are not yet that big I guess.. Or it will turn into veg state and start growing like a normal clone? Here's a pic of it.

Cheers!

What you did is tacking a clone in flower. Yes it will start to grow but you need to give it 18 to 24 hr. of light untill it makes it's change.

Thank you guys for the answers. I was just wondering whether it's worth keeping her. I have like 6 more seeds, so this was just experiment which did not die.. so I asked whether it's worth keeping her. I'll probably just keep it in my room as decoration :) thank's for the answers!

ya man dont re-veg, either make clones next time or start from seed. Your re-ve plant wont produce much on 2nd flower anyways.
I completely disagree it will take awhile before it takes off though. Shit if you liked he plant it would make a great mother and will put out
lots of shoots as a mother or if you flower it again it will yield well.

i reveg then cut clones off the re-vegger, it's great if you didn't get clones the first time thru vegging :eyesmoke:
