Reuse soil?

Can you reuse soil? and if yes what do you have to do to it because it would have been through many waterings with both vegg and flowering nutrients. Or is it best to discard and start fresh?

I've never done it but just add things like dolomite lime, worm casings, bat guano to the soil. There should be no problem, you don't throw out all the soil in your outdoor garden

Iv never reused soil for a smoke grow, but I wouldnt hesitate to use it for household and other plants

I was just wondering because im going to have a lot of soil to get rid of after my next harvest. My last grow I used the soil to grow jalapenos outside.

is it best to discard and start fresh?
if it's peat baseed like Pro Mix then yes as the peat breaks down to a fine powder that doesn't aerate the roots well. I re-use the perlite by dumping the soil in a tub of water and skiming it off (it floats !)

I recycled soil on this grow and just enriched it with composted cow manure, more dolomite lime, more worm castings, and some blood meal. And Epsom salts. And I produced plants that look like this

This grow I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest which I have used before. It seems like when I use that soil its always a breeding ground for fungus gnats.
